👏🏻 👏🏻
The ONLY “complaint” I can come up with is that I wish it were easier to add photos and that we could add more than three at a time, but that’s not even worth a drop in rating. 15/10 👏🏻
I was a fan before they did the upgrades
Amazing App!
Chicken math meets organization
We use it daily to manage our flock, breeding groups, hatches, and records, and it has completely replaced notebooks and scattered notes for us.
The only thing we’d love to see added is a way to import existing records via a CSV file when getting started—but even without that, Flockstar has become an essential part of our everyday farm routine.
Love being organized
Impressive and very useful
great app
Hands Down the Best Tool for Backyard Chicken and Quail Keepers
Love it but …
What I Love:
• User-Friendly Design: The interface is clean, intuitive, and makes tracking health records, egg production, and expenses remarkably simple.
• The Desktop Version: Having a fully-functional desktop version is a huge benefit. It allows for detailed data entry and analysis on a larger screen, which is essential for larger or complex flocks. This seamless sync between mobile and desktop is a major selling point!
• Comprehensive Tracking: The ability to log everything from medical treatments to feed consumption has been invaluable for optimizing the health and productivity of my birds.
Suggested Improvement:
The only feature I wish could be streamlined is the process for adding newly hatched chicks.
• Automation for Hatching: I would love it if there was an option for chicks that hatch (after logging the hatch date/count) to be automatically added as new entries in a designated "Chick" flock or directly into the main flock, rather than needing to manually create each new bird entry. This would be a massive time-saver during hatching season!
In conclusion, Flockstar is an essential tool for the modern chicken keeper. It's a fantastic app that brings organization and efficiency to the coop.
Absolutely Amazing app!
Great for some things not for others
When Im in hatching mode I will set a tray of 36 Silkie eggs every 4-7 days so adding an additional tray to my cabinet until its filled then on to the next.
At 10 days I candle each tray to check fertility. In those 36 eggs are the eggs laid from 10 different pairs trios or quad of breeders Im attempting to track from who’s laying all the way through their entire life egg to death or removal. This is all but impossible to do or at least easily without needing to add 10 sets for each tray due to eggs in it from 10 pens that may be 1 of the 36 or 12 of the 36 in the tray. Sooo…. In order to track the numbering would need to have way too much effort to input all the redundancies to be useful for 10 sets every few days for 3 months (example) set 1.1 set 1.2 set 1.3 etc etc when all that is needed to eliminate this would be an option to add additional lines instead of limiting to one. Pretty much like each days egg collection. In those lines having the ability to give candle results then number into lockdown & hatch rate. We do this quickly and easily in our notebooks and has been a major point in breeder friends of mine not wanting to buy into the app if they’re already achieving this with a simple ledger that includes all their pens and all this data in a checklist of the pens & how each pen preformed.
Also what happened to the ability to add photo album to each member?? Says it there but can only add the profile pic remove or change no additional
Ive reached out to the developer who is eager to get feedback to improve but had no interest in my suggestion stated in this review. Maybe just to complex of a program to code or wasnt understanding but either way nothing change so might just go back to my notebook as Ive always done
Best Inexpensive App

Love it
Love but
Love, but needs simplicity
It would be great to have the hatch go to a run automatically so I can then link to sell the chicks and track that data.
Maybe there is a way, but I haven’t figured it out yet.
