About
FlooringFlow turns the walk-through into the quote.
Measure the house on your iPad or phone, with a Bluetooth laser or a tape. Rooms, stairs, landings, closets and the awkward bits. It syncs to the office as a real takeoff — so nobody retypes the house, and nobody quotes off a photo of a notepad.
Then it runs the job: the crew's checklist, the photos, the customer's signature, the go-back. One app, from the first measurement to the final payment.
MEASURE THE HOUSE
• Rooms by length x width, or a straight area for a shape you worked out on the floor
• L-shapes, bays, closets and hallways recorded as separate rectangles of one room
• A hole in the floor and an island standing on it are different things, and it asks which — one comes off the area, the other deliberately does not
• Stairs counted per step, with winders counted separately, because a winder is not a step
• Landings measured on their own, with the riser face counted
• Photograph the room before work starts — the record that settles "it was already like that"
PAIR A LASER
• Take the reading with a Bluetooth laser and it lands in the field you are standing in — no keypad, no transposed digits, no reading a display at arm's length in a dark basement
• Confirmed on Leica DISTO. Other Bluetooth models are listed in the app with an honest verdict on each, including the ones that will never work and why
• Every field still takes a typed number. Lasers go flat; tapes do not
IT WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
• Every keystroke is written to the device — not every room, every character
• Tapping Add Room saves it before you type anything, so there is no unsaved room to lose
• Close the app mid-number and reopening puts you back on the exact field you left
• Basements and new builds are the normal case in this trade, not the exception
CLOSE THE SALE ON THE SPOT
• Owners, admins and estimators can open the priced proposal on the device
• The customer picks their option and signs, at their own kitchen table
• Or send them a link and let them sign on their own phone later
• What is not included is printed on the page they sign
RUN THE INSTALL
• Today's jobs, straight off the office schedule
• A structured checklist for every job, ticked off as the work is done
• Job photos and the customer's completion signature, taken on site
• A job cannot be closed until the checklist, photos and signature are all in
• Report a go-back without pretending the job finished
• See what is still owed. Installers see the status; collecting payment stays with the office
WHAT IT DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO
• It does not price on the phone. Pricing needs your markup, your labour rates and your margin, and those live at the office — the app hands the measurement over and says so
• It does not read a plan, scan a room, or use LiDAR. You measure it
• An installer never sees a margin
