Frustrating
I’ve accepted the fact that this app only downloads a pdf of the paper. But it requires a download every time the app is opened. Give me an option to save it so I can read later when not online. This is so basic I’m surprised this can’t be done
Won’t download
I keep getting a message that the latest edition cannot be downloaded. I deleted and reloaded the app and I still get the same message. I tapped on and version of the app that was on another iPad and the app popped up the size of a phone screen. It’s not working like it used to
Finally!
I'm thrilled that Florida Weekly finally came to the App Store and it is worth the wait. The Charlotte County version works flawlessly and I love that the magazine is free across all platforms.
Still Crashes
Kudos for fixing the crash issues. However, new version 1.8.6 does not have the Charlotte/Punta Gorda version. Why? Once this is fixed, I will upgrade rating.
Crash issue
The crash issue for Florida weekly has not been fixed. The app also crashes when you select text areas as well.
Not Ready for Prime Time
At first glance (after waiting several second for it to download the latest issue), it seems to be smaller version of the tabloid-sized paper edition. It has a cool feature that allows you to tap an article you are reading and share it via Facebook, Twitter, or e-mail; this feature, however, seems to interfere with the usual gestures you might use for zooming in, such as pinching or double-tapping. If they can solve this navigation issue, they might have a winner on their hands, because I think the ability to easily share content on social media would go a long way toward popularizing the publication.

High standard
The Florida Weekly is an excellent quality regional based read.It is perfect for the IPad .I download every week the Naples edition to be well informed of what's going on.The added bonus that it is a free app makes it even better......Well done.
Crashes constantly
I don't think I've ever gotten through a full issue without the app closing on me at least 2 or 3 times.

The app is consistently on the update status even though it is updated. Multiple issues.
I love the idea, but hate the current product
I can't read it. I zoom in and the text is blurry. All it is, is a PDF of the news paper. It's on the iPad at a minimum you can operate like the Internet where when u click on a cover story that continues on page three...TAKE ME TO PAGE THREE! You didn't need to create an iPad app to do this. Going to a website would have been better. Please run another TV ad when this is updated, cuz I'm deleting this.

Love the convenience of this app! I hate going to Publics only to find the paper bin empty. Now I can read my favorite paper anytime anywhere.
