About

This app is meant to help you flourish. To flourish, you have to understand yourself and what it means to be human. Thus, we have courses taught by the greatest philosophers (Plato, Aristotle, Confucius, and others) and spiritual masters (Augustine, Aquinas, Chrysostom). To fully engage with what they are saying, you have to train your mind: to focus (meditation), to use logic (logic puzzles), and to hold complex ideas in your head (calculation, memory). To fully implement what they're saying, you need a system that will guide you to take the right actions at the right times (habits, deep work). Moreover, you need feedback (passions assessment, virtue assessment, examen, flourishing assessment, life satisfaction assessment, etc.) — honest data on whether you're actually growing. And finally, it should be customized to who you are (psychometrically valid personality tests — Big Five, HEXACO, plus temperament quiz and perhaps more). In short: Learn — Courses from philosophers and spiritual masters Train — Meditation, logic, calculation, memory Act — Habits, deep work, fasting Reflect — Passions, virtues, examen, flourishing, life satisfaction Know Yourself — Personality assessments to personalize the path Most self-help apps give you the same behavioral science rehashed and then bottom out. The Good Life doesn't — because the wisdom of Plato, Aristotle, and Aquinas doesn't run out. There is always more to learn, more to practice, more to become.
