FlowFlow turns your voice into an organized, searchable memory that lives on your own devices. Record a thought. FlowFlow transcribes it, gives it a title and tags, and files it. Later, ask questions in plain language and get answers drawn from your notes, with sources you can open. RECORD AND TRANSCRIBE - One-tap voice capture with a live waveform, pause, and resume. - Transcribe in the cloud with Soniox or entirely on-device with local Whisper models. - Local transcription works in airplane mode, and the audio never leaves your iPhone. - Start a recording from Control Center or the Lock Screen. - Import PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, and CSV files. OCR supports scanned PDFs. ASK YOUR NOTES - Ask questions and get answers with sources you can open. - Search combines keywords, semantic retrieval, and reranking. - Enable web search for a conversation when you need recent information. - Save an answer or an entire thread as a note. - Use an OpenAI API key or connect your ChatGPT subscription for chat. - An OpenAI API key is still required for embeddings and semantic search. ORGANIZE - Automatic titles and tags as you write. - Hierarchical folders and note threads that read from top to bottom. - Related notes surfaced automatically. - Notes grouped by date for easier navigation. - Turn a request such as “pick up the kids at 5 PM” into an iOS reminder. COLLABORATE IN SPACES - Create team spaces containing multiple themes. - Invite members with a single-use link. - Grant read-only or read-write access. - Share only the themes placed inside a space. Your private notes remain outside it. - Manage members, themes, and permissions from the sidebar. WORK WITH HERMES - Give Hermes access to one specific space. - Choose read-only or read-write access. - Revoke or regenerate its access at any time. - Hermes can read authorized folders, notes, and threads, then contribute in the same space as your team. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Personal notes and the search index stay on your devices. - Sync between your own devices travels directly over the encrypted local network. - Only content you intentionally place in a shared space is sent to the FlowFlow service and authorized members. - Back up and restore your data as one archive. API keys and pairing secrets are not included. ASSISTANTS AND CONNECTORS - Connect available services such as Google Sheets and limit an assistant to selected resources. - External actions that require approval are shown before execution. - Hermes can write in a space only when you grant it read-write access. IPHONE AND MAC - A keyboard-first Mac app with fast navigation and native dialogs. - Available in English and French. - Up to three devices can be linked to one FlowFlow account. Configure the services you need in Settings: a ChatGPT subscription or OpenAI API key for chat, an OpenAI API key for semantic search, and Soniox or local Whisper for transcription. Anthropic remains available as an optional chat provider. Open source under the EUPL 1.2 license.
