About
FlowShield is built for certified backflow prevention technicians who test
assemblies in the field and have to produce a report a water purveyor will
accept.
RECORD A TEST THAT HOLDS UP
Enter readings for check valves, the relief valve or air inlet, and line
pressure. The form asks for exactly what the assembly type requires: a reduced
pressure assembly needs its relief valve reading, a double check does not.
Pass or fail is worked out from the readings, not typed in.
THE CERTIFICATE IS THE POINT
Every report exports as a one-page PDF carrying your company logo, the
technician's certification number, and the gauge that took the readings. The
gauge and technician are frozen onto the report when it is saved, so a
certificate you hand over next year still says what actually measured the test.
A REPORT IS NEVER QUIETLY EDITED
Correcting a mistake records a new report that supersedes the old one. Both
remain. That is what makes the history worth keeping.
YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE TOLD
Due date reminders, test results, non-compliance notices and repair updates go
out by email on a schedule you set, in wording you can edit.
THE DAY'S WORK
Customers, assemblies, scheduled visits on a map, and repairs from the failing
test that opens one to the passing test that closes it.
WORKS WHERE THE ASSEMBLIES ARE
Everything is stored on the phone first and syncs when there is signal, because
backflow assemblies are in basements and vaults.
Record five tests free. Reading, exporting and printing are never limited.
