Fluid Backgammon
I’m a Big fan of this app. Love the simplicity of the bold graphics and realistic sound effects of the dice being thrown on a wood board. I have never played an backgammon app before that is this neutral or random a dice roll. Others apps, when played repeatedly - you can sense the programming and often guess the computer’s next roll. Which won’t help you learn the true game of backgammon, just how to beat that particular app.

Had potential but no updates for years.
The play is smooth & smart - and with the AI taking time to "think", it feels more realistic and fun.
However, I must add the game at medium level (still no high level yet), is rather easy to beat. You won't always win if you are a good player, but you'll win say, 75% of the time.
A refreshing thing is, I don't think this app "cheats" on dice rolls like many others.
*** NOTE: It’s been years without an upgrade now. So it’s the app’s been dropped from 3 to 2 stars in my ratings.
Check out “Backgammon NJ” - by far the best backgammon app out right now. ***

One thing missing to be perfect
I love this backgammon game, and I’ve tried a bunch of them. It seems the fairest by far, with seemingly no built in advantages against a single player. I ha e only one question for the developer. HOW CAN I TURN THE SOUND OFF?

It’s too small to see/play and not resizable! Uses incorrect terminology, e.g., correct terminology is stones, not “checks”.
Interface is good, but so buggy
The app crashes constantly, and every time the app closes (whether on purpose or through crash) you lose all game progress. Some serious code rewriting needed.
