Why are these lights so damn expensive when the only way to change the color is via an app that will not work? (I have tried 30 times at this point)

It’s great to be able to control my light but this is the worst UI I have ever seen.
Terrible
I was really hoping that this would be much better than the standalone remote control controls. Instead, Fluval has taken what could’ve been a fantastic selling point and turned it into a downfall. Returned the whole unit because the app is so bad.
What year is it?
This app looks like nothing has been updated in 20 years. While functionally it works, the lack of options/control along with an aging UI is not acceptable in 2026.
