It’s… good?

I did enjoy this game. My favorite part was making the line really long and casting. Super satisfying. I just wish there where more options like a currency so you could buy equipment and maps.

It’s an awesome game but I hate that you only have two maps it would be so much fun if I hade move e than two maps

Only a sample of the content is free, but a single purchase gets you a really huge collection of rivers and every other feature.

Tight lines

A big hats off to the developer of this game. It’s a massive ask to get anywhere near to what this game is as a fly fishing simulator but this guy has pretty much done it!!! Yes it could do with better controls, No it can’t match keeping the line correct as it travels but boy the way the line moves with the water and the take physics are spot on. What a pleasure this is. Also loads of rivers to choose from. I bought the entire pack because I think this developer deserves it, hopefully he will keep tweaking it.
Many thanks for creating such a great game/simulation. Keep up the amazing work. 🙏

Enjoyable Game

I enjoy this game. It uses realistic stream video and that tackle to be rig in a number of ways to adjust for different water conditions. Caching more fish leads to better tackle and additional stream sections. Would be nice to have more larger fish opportunities, but enjoyable nevertheless. Worth the purchase.

Keep coming back for more

I’ve played this game on and off for many years and I am a well seasoned angler and fly tyer of 25+ seasons. When I’m stuck at home this game just hits the spot. The hatches and the matching flies are accurate, the casting is simple but demands the timing of actual casting and the bird sounds/river sounds put me at ease.
I’m really enjoying it on the iPad vs. the iPhone.

Fish fight time

It’s fun but the fish fight tine is unrealistic a 16 inch trout in real life is no challenge on cheap 4 pound test mono, but in this game a 10 inch trout broke me off with 5 pound either make the line stronger of the fish the strength they are in real life. All in all it’s fun but please for the love of god fix this and it will be 5 stars

Nice Getaway

Started playing this to relax from work-life stress, my wife wonders where I am at and yells “stop fishing on the toilet” haha fantastic game; could improve the UI a bit and maybe add once you get an X amount of record catches on a lake you can unlock a new site for free. But overall stellar game!

Pretty good game

Amazing graphics and all, but it takes forever to catch a fish. I guess that’s pretty realistic, so overall I think it’s a good game

I really like the game

It really is a good game but 15 dollars 4 everything like rods reals leaders that’s insane money on a game I am a fly fisherman myself it is a pretty good experience of real life I fly fish for white bass it takes 30 seconds to land one not 10 minutes that’s one thing the creators neeeeed to fix they do tire fairly quickly I personally love hunting fishing everything of that nature that’s my thoughts on the game.

Until you've unlocked some heavier gear the tippets are very light starting out, so if you hook into a fairly nice fish the fight can be challenging. The fights won't take nearly so long with heavier leaders, until you get into something really massive. You may want to check out the newer version, Fly Fishing Simulator HD. The graphics are greatly improved, and there are over 200 rivers and streams available, including many for just a buck. Thanks for your review!

Awesome game(suggestions)

This is a great game especially if you are looking for a game that is fast paced but still relaxing. The free items are great to get a taste for the game (It could use a couple more free locations), but if you have the $15, it is definitely worth buying. Maybe for future updates y’all can add saltwater fishing and smoother water animations. Other than that the game is perfect and I am definitely going to recommend. 10/10 🤙

The Real river experience

Fished Montana, British Columbia, and Alberta. It’s like in the stream. Subtle, and nuanced.

Used to be better

Used to get all of the gear and some spots by earning it like you earn flies and you also used to be able to tie your own, I get they have to make money and it’s still a good game, they just made it more pay to play unfortunately.
