Upgrades don't match the difficulty

I've tried over and over, but I still can't fly 1,600 meters. Why is it so difficult? I've already leveled up. What do I need to do to make it that far?

Has potential

It’s very good but has a great vibe to it and if you’ve played peaks of yore it’s definitely has the feeling of the game.

It’s a nice game

The graphics are overall calming and not much of a eyestrain compared to most games. Levels are quite difficult but allows the player to discover more ways of flying like how to glide and regain energy to fly longer distances. Would be great if the developers added more levels like after the 3000m mark, we could’ve upgraded to a new aircraft after achieving the Flyboys Badge. Overall nice game, was confusing at first but now it’s enjoyable to experiment with current upgraded equipment

Frustrating

So frustrating, has future but

Great game, could use some tweaking

To all the commenters saying you can’t get off the ground, it takes a little practice but it’s easy to do once you get the hang of it. Sometimes the propeller doesn’t engage when I feel like it should have, but I can fly 8/10 until I run out of energy. With that being said, I always run out of energy before the 1600 marker. Have had at least 200 or more flights ranging from 1200-1500 meters, most being around 1400. Anyone past the 1600 mark yet? But I love the originality and the graphics. Great concept as well!

Abandoned project

People have been complaining since February that the 1600m level is impossible & they haven’t fixed it

A Good Start

I liked this game at first and got better at taking off and keeping it in the air. But the only real goal seems to be staying up in the air longer, which gets tedious fast. The upgrades don’t really match the difficulty, and after a few upgrades I’m stuck. I’ve tried a lot but can’t reach the next distance, and it feels more about luck or “getting the feel” than figuring out a strategy. Since most of the gameplay is just staying in the air, it ends up feeling repetitive and monotonous. Adding more variety or different challenges would make it a lot more fun and keep my interest longer. It definitely gets points for originality, and I think it has the foundations of a pretty cool game.

Unfortunate rating.

It’s a beautiful game, it looks so nice and the idea is great, but it’s so difficult. I’ve been playing it on and off now for a few months and it just gets me so annoyed because it is impossible to progress. You need to fly 400m, but your energy burns out so quickly that you run out before 400m and you can’t land it without having energy, and you need to land rear wheel down first or you’ll crash. It is absolutely impossible. You can’t change or modify parts and you can’t even pay to buy new parts so you get stuck

Great Game

Not easy to master but good fun. Got to 3000m and it seems that’s the end? Would be great if it expanded in future updates

Good concept but poor mechanics

The take of mechanic is so inconsistent it’s frustrating at very minimum. Most of the time slider to change into the propeller doesn’t engage for whatever reason. This just ruins the game

Well done

It’s been years since I’ve seen a casual, addictive game. The music and art are great and mechanics are realistic. Wish there was a altitude/speed reading. I know the hat flip is the cue to take off.

It’s a good game

I’ve been playing for an house now and feel like landing is inconsistent

Cycle/propeller slider

Sometimes works but most of the time it won’t slide therefore messing the take off up

Too hard

I can’t even unlock two upgrades because I keep crashing. The transition from cycling to flying is clunky

A great game, but flawed (currently)

This is a really good game, it is hard to master (which I love) and has a really cool art style. However, getting past the 1600m flight distance is impossible. I must have tired about 30 times now and the closest I can get is 1520m. This needs fixing/changing, as others have raised the same issue.

Lazy devs

So from what I can see and what I’ve experienced, everyone saying you can barely ever get off the ground are right. Not only that but it seems as though this issue has been happening for MONTHS on months and not a single thing has been done about it. Disappointing considering the potential that the game has.

Pointlessly aggravating

Serious control issue. Controls go from no response to over-response in the blink of an eye. Boring and not worth the effort.

Amazing!

It is challenging, Which makes it enjoyable.first hour or so I felt like an idiot trying to get the timing right but once you get acclimated it’s a beautiful game. Great homage to the first in flight.

Great until…

I was really enjoying this game and managed to progress the flights until the 1600m mark. Ive upgraded with all available parts and I’ve tried so many times but no matter how good my takeoff is I just can’t get to 1600m as the energy runs out. Feels like I can no longer progress which is frustrating.
