About
Flying Studios is a movement training center and social space for all people, of all ages. Founded in 2010 in the vibrant Temescal District of Oakland, we host flow, dance, and strength classes, movement and social pop ups, kids classes and camps, and act as a community space and venue for local artists and musicians. Our space is big and bright, with high ceilings and a lovely ambiance. The atmosphere is low key and welcoming, with an emphasis on fostering grounded, nurturing connections in the midst of our busy city lives. The focus is on the quality of instruction, the unique vibe of each teacher, hosting a clean and comfortable space, and supporting our neighbors as we traverse modern society. We strive to be helpful in the worldwide efforts to make our earth more harmonious, equal and free. And we believe that striving for a balanced and harmonious inner self, with body, mind and soul equally celebrated, will help in these efforts. We'd love to have you in the mix!
