Wow
Wow such a good app! So clean so cool. And I only have the free version, crazy how underrated this is, please get it and support this dev!
Awesome
Well worth it

Just bought the full version and having trouble getting output. while it does connect via iaa on FL studio Mobile it will not play sound directly from there. I’ve tried matching MIDI channels or just leaving them Omni but still no luck. However, I do see the output signal while it’s routed when I open the Inter app so it there is a connection but I cannot get sound when playing in FLSM piano roll. Perhaps it’s so for an update or am I missing something?

Boring, uninspiring experience
I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but if you pay to unlock the full version, it doesn’t become eligible for refund in the App Store, so I think it’s important to call a few things out to avoid buyer’s remorse. Many of the unlocked preset voices sound extremely similar. Good luck differentiating between a lead and what this app generously calls an “organ.” I like to support developers and thought maybe I’d find what was missing in making my own patches sound original, but it turns out you just can’t do very much with this synth. Even the basic waveforms all sound the same. I got this because I liked the simple design and thought it looked like it would be an easier place to teach my kid about synthesis than some of the more complex synth apps out there, but I can’t even use this to show him the difference between a sign and square wave sound. When I opened the arpeggiator I could believe how basic it was. No control of the sequence it plays notes in, how many steps it has, etc. In fact, I thought it was non functional at first, because if you play a note with the arpeggiator turned on, it sounds exactly like it does with it turned off. You have to play all the notes you want it to “arpeggiate” manually, and it steps through them in an order that you can’t configure or modify. As I am more than capable of playing 4 or 5 notes in sequence far more expressively, the arpeggiator here is useless. The effects are extremely basic. No panning or triplet settings on the delay, the distortion is hard to find anything pleasant in between too subtle and too mangled, there’s no chorus or flanger, it’s just… really disappointing for an app I paid for and can’t change my mind about.

So-so
Sticky keys, underwhelming sounds with little variation unless you go extreme and the FX are barely worth turning on. Just dull really.
Great way to learn, limitations for recording
The animations for the LFOs are really helpful in understanding what is happening. Everything is intuitive and easy to read. AuV3 works well. I only wish there was a mono/poly/legato button, which would make monophonic basses more clear and powerful
Easy and fun to use - some issues
EDIT: The devs listened and added a SAVE-AS function! GarageBand menu still needs work.
Love Flynth! It’s much less daunting to use in comparison to something like audiokit synth one. The little animations are very helpful in understanding what LFOs are doing. I recommend it!
Although isn’t a problem when working in Garageband, however it makes no sense that being able to save a patch you made from tinkering isn’t possible in the native app.
You also cannot access user patches you’ve created from GarageBand.
=====Fixed======
However, there is a flaw that has not been addressed which seems like it should be a standard.
It’s missing the ability to save a synth patch you’ve created while tinkering on a preset. Currently the only way to create a user patch from a preset is to first copy the preset, THEN tinker. If you’ve already been casually tinkering with a preset and HAVEN'T copied it yet, you pretty much have to delete everything and start over on the same preset if you want to save it as a user patch.

Save altered presets??
Why is this not available on many of your apps? Huge limitation.
Response from developer
You are totally right, we have added a "save as" feature to fix that in the last update 2.1, please install it to resolve this issue.

Adorable
Love the simplicity of the look, interface and sound! Would like to be able to modulate multiple destinations from one each LFO and would REALLY appreciate an amount control over the filter envelope going +/- but very happy with the purchase. Surprisingly difficult to find a sine wave Osc synth. Also I don’t appreciate the log curve on the cutoff, I fond it very difficult to hone in on bass tones (quickly).
Also is it possible to save a version of any preset to a new user preset?
Thanks!

Using it with Beatmaker 3
I purchased the app and i’m using it in Beatmaker 3. I cannot access the top of the app where you can cycle through the sounds. Please tell me im doing something wrong and how i can fix it. thanks
Response from developer
Yes the presets browser was missing but we fixed that in the last update v2.1, please install it to get presets browser in AudioUnit.
Great, back to basics synth
Fun and easy UI. Fantastic tool to learn basic subtractive synthesis. Easy to make great sounds.
Would be nice for more detailed controls. LFO’s don’t go slow enough. Envelopes are rather touchy.
Still a good overall simple synth.

Samples not what I needed; denied return
I requested a refund after listening to the samples just a few days after but was denied a refund.
need help
what cord do i need to use the midi function with my ipad?
Buggy
Great sounds, just purchased, but buggy as heck! Sticky keys, midi not working, running via AUM in iPadOS 14, please fix!
Forgot the KLEVGR logo?
Because I swear I own this synth already. But instead of Flynth, it’s called Hillman.
Knobs do not turn
Spent 10 minutes trying to grab a knob and turn....or, "tweak." But the best you can achieve is the knobs partially rotate, random direction, cursor does not attach to it. Click. Click and drag. Double click. Nothing.
Used for about one minute
Unable to use my computer keyboard to play the keys. No settings in the app. If you don't have a MIDI keyboard to attach, I doubt you will find this app useful.
Simple but very nice synth
This synth sounds good and is pretty fun to play around with making your own LFO modulated synth sounds. Thanks to the developer for the latest update, making the AUv3 a lot more complete! Awesome sauce 😎🤩🌟
Response from developer
An update is now available with AUv3 new features: all factory presets, FX & Arpeggio, please update!
