About
Every minute, something interesting is happening in the sky. A plane circles, waiting its turn to land. A landing is called off at the last moment. A tanker flies laps over the sea. FlyScout picks these flights out of thousands, all over the world, so you see the ones worth a second look.
SAID IN PLAIN WORDS
Every unusual flight is said in words first: what happened, where, and which aircraft. "Go-around at Bristol." "Emergency squawk near Quimper." Callsign and registration come after, for those who want them.
WHAT FLYSCOUT SPOTS
• Emergency squawks and rapid descents
• Diversions, turnbacks and flights that turn around in cruise
• Go-arounds, holding and circuits
• Flying low, jet-stream speeds and short hops between neighbouring airports
• Tankers and surveillance aircraft on station, high flyers and rare types
EVERY FLIGHT ON ITS OWN MAP
Each one opens on a full-screen map, framed on the moment that mattered, its track coloured by height. Press Play to fly it again, or drag along the altitude strip. Still in the air? Watch where it is now.
FILTERS THAT FIT
Choose what happened, where (near you, your home airport, a continent or a country) and which aircraft.
FIND A FLIGHT
By flight number or registration, for today or a past day, on the same map.
RADAR
Live aircraft around you or any airport, as a scope or a list.
FLYSCOUT PRO
Free shows what happened in the last 48 hours. Pro shows it first and tells you.
• Happening now: watch flights that look unusual while they unfold, before any rule has confirmed them.
• Alerts: a notification when a flight you care about is found, from emergencies anywhere to military or your home airport.
• The whole history: every unusual flight of the last 30 days.
FOUND BY RULES, NOT GUESSES
Every flight in the feed was picked by a fixed rule that measured its track. It says what the track shows, never why. Positions come from receiver networks run largely by volunteers, such as ADSB.lol (ODbL), and every flight credits its source. Aircraft photos come from Planespotters.net, credited to their photographers.
FlyScout is for people who love aviation. It is not a navigation or safety service.
