Here’s a fun and incredibly useful app that saves a lot of time for the pilot looking for new adventures. Whether they be family resort trips or skiing escapes, this app has it all at your fingertips with a plethora of information to help you decide what best fits your mission. Indeed, it may well provoke new mission goals!

Even as a corporate pilot I enjoy my time flying smaller aircraft around on personal trips to unique destinations. FlyToPlaces is the perfect companion for this while also offering detailed information on various destinations and recommendations. This is a top recommendation to my fellow aviators!
Nothing special.
The interface is clunky so finding destinations and events is frustrating. A Google search is no worse. The content is pretty thin. Finally, the “curated” experiences: can we close the book on that overwrought, overused puffery?
Underdelivers
I was attracted by the promise of A&P listings, but when I searched for a listing at my airport, which has several and 4 maintenance shops, the closest it showed was at an airport over 50 miles away. An attractive design, but I found it less than intuitive. It is sized for a phone, which makes too Sami on a tablet.

Fills a big gaps for pilots who like to use their plans for adventures
Howe Ed you want to use your plane, this app will help you plan more easily and faster. It combines info from a lot of sources into one user-friendly place. Wish I had thought of this! It’s brand new but the content is improving and increasing daily. As more and more pilots discover it and contribute content , it will just keep getting better. For now it’s free , and I can see many people getting hooked and being willing to pay for it. It’s that good an idea. I have already used it for a recent trip to the Bahamas from Canada and am currently using it for a trip to 3 US cities to watch MLB games. It’s fun to add your own content too , knowing it will benefit fellow pilots.
