šŸ§ššŸ½ā€ā™€ļøso cute and fun to experiment with

I love the aesthetic with some unique functions. This synthesizer is great get it. This is why we need more girly developers in the space. I look forward to anything else you releasešŸ§ššŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

Update: 9/13/25 - DSP issues. Monomachine inspired indeed.

Update: 9/13/25. Loading a single instance of fmQT inside AUM, then loading the preset ā€œRobo Roverā€ seems to cause DSP usage to spike to 100%. Could be related to the knob automation inside fmQT? I’m on a newer iPad Pro M4.

Original review: Overall Great start. As someone familiar with elektron workflow, I was able to record and delete trigs easily. my suggestions for improvement: * A settings menu for: * changing knob direction (usually vertical or more knob-like control * skins change for those that may want less pink. * background audio on/off * more accurate values on the parameters (or midi cc values) * Envelope decay needs a better usable range. The app did experience some weird dropouts the more ā€œknob recordingā€ I threw at it. 2018 iPad Pro.

Loop Mania!!!

Record All function is so addicting!!! Beautiful sharp sparkly tones!!! Love it!!

Fantastic

There is a lot here to love. I got mesmerized playing live into the arpeggiator, it acts like a rhythmic looper. Really fun monophonic synth

If you are into innovation……

As a producer who after 2 decades is rarely impressed i genuinely feel there’s an innovative feature I’ve never seen before in this creative tool. The fact this synth records parameter automation without you asking is a game changer. Look…..if you know you know I’m not here to convince you. Download it. Play around and watch how it records your creativity against your will. If that’s something that makes you feel something you’ve never felt before then you’re In the right place. Thank me later!!

<3.

Love the design, creativity and the sounddesign possibilies! Very nice that almost every parameter in this app is recordable in a very usable way. I'd love it if the record button on the top would be seperated into different buttons though, often record things that i didn't intend to record because theres no fast way to switch it of. And also kinda sad that you can't use it as Inter-App Audio in AUM.

But still worth the buy!

Update: Working more with it, it crashed using it as Audio Unit in Aum.
Also the tempo is not really reliable in app, so very happy to use it for experiments, bit besides that its a bit to buggy

Really cute and fun synth

Definitely the cutest synth app out there, there’s lots of good preset sounds to start with and the sequencer is really easy to use :)

Game changer!

Excellent sounds and great for techno music production

Nice one ā˜ļø

At first didn’t want to upgrade to iOS 17 for this but well worth it! Nice update, thx for the presets!

A super cute experimental synth for your pocket!

While fmQT may not look like too much, it certainly packs a lot into a mobile synth app. I find that where this app may fall short in the realm of ā€œclassicā€ synthesizer patches, it excels at more experimental and raw sound design. On top of everything, it’s wild that there were this many features on DAY ONE. Even more wild that there are already updates flowing in. I could play with this for hours and could even see myself incorporating it into a live set. I’m very excited to see where this app goes in the future :)

Excellent app

I’m looking forward to more from the developer. It’s easy to understand and simple to create chaotic sounds.
