$130 Sub for what exactly?

Something has gone wrong with this app, which I remember thinking was quite reputable some years ago. But I was astonished on latest download to find it absolutely crippled for use, unless I paid —no kidding, — $9.99 every WEEK. You read that correctly, every WEEK. Why would a developer have such a pricing as their default? I don’t know, but one possibility is that their new business plan includes hoping that people forget to cancel their weekly subscription after the first few days. Just a guess. (Yes, there is a $99 per year subscription plan, but nothing reasonable by the month. And $99 per year is also an astonishingly high price for an app that isn’t handling your entire workflow.) All in all, this bizarre pricing makes me worry that the developer has perhaps been bought out by some predatory firm. I don’t know that to be the case, I am just suspicious that where there is smoke there is fire. So I will not give them any of my data, or any access privileges on my phone.

Not the easiest, but with patience, it should be great.
Potentially it’s gonna work great hardly get started.Once you figure out how to use and fine-tune the fields of blur, you can really make it look perfect.
The iPad version is really giving me problems. I definitely recommend doing some tutorials.

I used to use this only for adding bokeh. It used to be free now you have to pay. Zero stars.

Really enjoying this app as it puts another dimension into my photos. I find some of the techniques are hard to use but the ones I do use like are very good.

Se nao fosse o fato do app ser bugado seria otimo. Qnd to tentando editar o foco e desfoco de uma foto manualmente eu toco em um lugar da tela e o toque sai é em outro local da imagem ai fica impossível mexer manualmente no foco.

Paid for lifetime access but most features are gone!
This app used to be my favorite, had awesome features including lighting and many other tools, the bokeh (though artificial) used to be great, now many of those features are gone, bokeh is terrible leaving weird edges around objects and people, exporting would apply changes to a part of the photo but not to the entire frame and so on. It is sad that we can’t trust these companies even when we pay.

I used to LOVE this app. It was so user friendly and had a great auto recognition system for the main focus of pictures. Now, it struggles selecting the whole subject, cutting off noses, hair, hands, half of bodies. And the edit tool doesn’t work when the photo is zoomed in. So small details are lost and the photo edits look unnatural. It’s so disappointing.

Easy to use and absolutely perfect for portraits on the iPhone.
The app was easy to understand and use and gave very excellent results on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I already own a Lensbaby lens and the effect in Focos was vey faithful to the real lens. Highly recommend this one!
The app has gotten worse.
The app has gotten worse. Two years ago, more features were free, and they worked better. Now, the blurring looks bad. Plus, you can't save a photo for free, even if you haven't used the paid features. Subscription prices are incredibly high, and there's no one-time purchase. I'd rather watch 10 ads in a row. And there's no basic option to manually select the background you want to blur yourself by using brush, which is really weird.
