About

Focus is a simple Deep Focus blocker that leaves only what you need during a session. Choose the apps and websites you want to allow, optionally set a duration, and start. No account is required. BLOCK EVERYTHING EXCEPT WHAT YOU ALLOW Use Apple's private Screen Time picker to choose the apps, categories, and web domains you need during focus. Focus shields everything you do not select. Leave the allow list empty to block all supported apps and websites. Categories are saved as the individual items they contain when selected. OPTIONAL PRECISE TIMER Set hours, minutes, and seconds. Leave the timer at 00:00:00 for an unlimited session, or choose 15 minutes or longer for automatic ending. Timed shields are removed after the interval when the device is next used. PROTECTED CHANGES Ending early or changing what is allowed during a session requires Face ID or Touch ID, with the device passcode as the system fallback. Cancelling or failing authentication keeps the session and shields unchanged. BUILT FOR RECOVERY Focus saves the active session and checks authorization, expiration, monitoring, and shields whenever the app becomes active. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No Focus account, ads, or analytics SDK • No developer-operated backend • Screen Time selections are opaque system tokens stored on your device • Biometric data stays with Apple's authentication system • No Calendar, Reminders, or browser access

What's New in Focus

1.1.3

August 18, 2026

Focus now uses a Deep Focus approach: during a session, everything is blocked except the apps and websites you allow. • Choose only what you want available • Leave the allow list empty for full blocking • Category selections expand to their current items • Fixes partial unblocking when more than 50 individual apps were selected On first launch after updating, Focus safely resets the previous block selection and any active session.
