I just realized the zoom icon isn’t missing, It’s just a feature you have to enable in the settings now. Sorry for the confusion.
My favourite app
I use this all the time for macro photography and the results are perfect. I love that it Zooms in when you set the focus, nice touch!

Half the functions dont work, try changing to manual and the shutter button disappears, avoid this app

SO incredibly useful
I’m an environmental scientist, so I’m always taking pictures of small things (mushrooms, insects, etc). This app is so incredibly useful for this purpose. The zoom in for manual focusing is the best tool in any camera app I’ve used, and the light adjustment is handy in shady forests or on overcast days. The only thing I really wish it had was location information for each picture. Is there a way to add that functionality?

I have just started using it, and have been greatly impressed with the quality of output. I hope to offer more feedback after I have used it for a reasonable amount of time. Thanks to developer for this great application. Keep up good work.
Now that I have used the app for sometimes now, I am totally impressed on the quality of output.
However, I have one major concern that any photo or video taken by the app can't be saved outside the App. As a result, I can't move or save the photo or video outside the app. As a result, I can't use my output. On the other hand, continuous storing of output within the app has been increasing inside the app- I can't download it. So, it's of no use.
Would you advise how could I get my output out of the App? Thank you. Fazlur Rahman

Good app, but needs improvements
When manual focusing the enlarged inset helps a lot. However Focus peaking & exposure compensation would raise the bar. Currently 3.5 stars!
12/16/2016 update: Manual focus is one of or it is the best that's available so bump up to 4 stars. It'll deserve 4.5 stars with focus peaking & exposure compensation.

If the amount of bokeh could be adjusted during editing, etc. this would surely rate a 4 to 4.5 stars.

Well.... here’s what I think
First of all, if they added a few features, it could be a great app. But I use an iPad mini, so I’m not 100% sure if this could effect the end result, but I trust that it shouldn’t. The quality of the app isn’t perfect. There could definitely be a few tweaks. The main thing I found is that, it’s called focus+, and it wouldn’t focus on a certain part of the photo. It all sort of bended together, to me, the normal camera could take a photo pretty much as good as the ones I took on this app.
Just my opinion, but again, (I don’t think it would) but the fact that I have an iPad mini, could interfere with the app.🙂

focus camera (ari-yo)
it used to work on my ipad2 with iOS 9.3.5 but now it just crashes to home screen .
still works on iPhone 4 iOS 9.3.5. why one & not the other when they're practically the same thing? it's confusing. it'd be nice if it got fixed, but I've checked a few times & it's still a problem. eventually I'll just forget to check, or it'll start happening on the iPhone a well.

Brilliant manual video controls
Took a while to stumble across this app in the store, I was mentally preparing to roll out my own at that point… though my app’s UI wouldn’t be as on point.
The UI for smooth zoom adjustment is great, allowing with one hand to sloowly hone in on your subject while simultaneously adjusting either focus or exposure.
Excellent app so far; I would suggest to, if I may:
– implement video FPS selector (for slo-mo), record at best resolution possible for chosen FPS
– implement ProRes codec selection
– implement smooth control of focus and exposure/ISO. Tricky, as Apple only exposes ramping API for zoom
– invest a bit in error handling and edge cases (I don’t care if the app crashes on me, though if video doesn’t get saved that could be an issue. Had a few crashes but footage got correctly saved each time so far).

Literally garbage
You can’t save your videos at all and the focus kind of sucks anyways would not recommend. I would go and buy a focus Lens for you camera there usually only between $10 and $20

I love this app cuz of the focusing and how u can like just do everything like this is the type of app I've wanted
Works almost flawlessly!
This app does everything I expected it to do and more! The only complaints I have about it is the lack of quality control (though I was pleasantly surprised by the aspect ratio choice in video mode) and the borked zoom function in video mode. Every other functionality is impressively useful and working. Highly recommended.

Nice camera ap
Runs flawlessly on iOS 9.3.3 Silky smooth video zoom. Clean interface and easy to set and use.
Bad update
The new interface is terrible. The old one was much easier and better to use. Use can't focus and zoom in(out) at the same time anymore. You have to do each thing separately now. Disappointing update.
