it has to access your screentime in order to block other apps since they are distractions. I got suspicious and even when i turned off the study session it wouldnt let me delete it without a screen time passcode that i had to get my dad to turn off for me to delete it.
Response from developer
Hey there, thanks for trying out FocusPasta. FocusPasta needs access to screen time to block apps during study sessions, and this is how any app-blocking apps work in general. We do not access any of your screen time data. We also don't have the ability to stop you from deleting our app, and the password prompt you saw probably came from parental control restrictions for app deletions that have nothing to do with FocusPasta. Either way, we hope you enjoyed the app and that it helped you in your studies :)
solid pomodoro app
i love a good pun & the app is very well designed! my only gripe/question is whether or not thereβs an auto advance feature so that the timer continually cycles through focus/break sessions
My favorite app
