Not worth money
This app is no better than the free apps. It would be worth the money if you could log a daily meal journal.
Key?
I wish there was some sort of key to explain what all of the letters mean. What are ODMP?
Update is a mess
App is US biased, which can be a pain if searching for something known otherwise in the UK. I had been keeping a detailed diary in that section for 3 weeks, but yesterday 3/4/19, I opened the app to find the whole thing had been updated overnight and the diary entries difficult to find, in the wrong order and completely messed up. 3 weeks of records for this difficult enough diet down the pan. Iโm going to delete.

Really helpful
This app is great to get you started on understanding the FODMAPs diet and helps you to see how to steer a way through what is a complex diet. Iโd have given it 5 if it were just a little bit more sophisticated (I know itโs asking a lot of a free app) and allowed you to gauge portion sizes and how stacking may occur. Thanks a for a great app, you are helping humanity! ๐

Useful data, but recommendations DONT work!
Annoying that they donโt seem to have updated this app for a while. Would be great to see different food group recommendations.
Finding foods is easy though, which is nice.

Great app at first glance oddly itโs completely free.
I wouldnโt mind advertising or a pay to remove adverts feature. Well done. I also love the additional breakdown of types of foods.
Out of date
A useful overall guide but not as accurate as it should be. For example, rice milk is still listed as high in ODMPs in the app, but researchers at Monash University advised that rice milk is actually low in ODMPs two years ago.
Excellent app
This app has really helped me to manage my diet since my recent diagnosis. It has been excellent in helping me to understand which foods to try to begin to reintroduce back into my diet and which to avoid for now. The only addition I think I would find helpful is to be able to search foods from a particular fodmap group e.g. Those from the fruit category which are yellow in the 'O' group. Thank you for creating such a helpful app.

Innacurate...
My six year old son who has epilepsy has needed a strict FODMAP diet. So far I have found a couple very innacurate listings where it the app says its low on FODMAPS, but in reality it is HIGH. I no longer trust this app to offer correct information.
Clear and effective.
This diet is a minefield and this app is like a map. After a while it becomes second nature, but I can't carry the books around with me all day to check the food lists.
Good app for ingredient lookup
I wanted an app to let me easily look up the FODMAP status of ingredients. I tried 9 different apps, everything I could find in the App Store that seemed relevant. I tried looking up 15 ingredients in each app.
This app provides ingredient lookups through its Catalogue section.
The information is good, and seems consistent with most of the other apps.
The search feature is the best of any app I tried. It does a nice job with search-as-you-type, even finding substrings; for example, "berr" will find "blackberry" without you needing to hit enter.
It also breaks the FODMAP information into four ratings, showing which of the four irritants is present.
The official Monash University app provides more complete information on some ingredients, so I defer to it when in doubt. But this one is much easier to use.
I've rated this app slightly higher than the official Monash one. Even though Monash feels more complete and authoritative, and I use it when I can afford the time, this app is easier to use... which is important when I'm standing in the grocery store poring over an ingredient list.

Confusing
So confusing I uninstalled next day. Unable to log/save. Wasted $0.99
Major error
App rates agave as safe although it's famously high in FODMAP. I have only had the app for a day but I'm wondering what else might be inaccurate.
Contradicts other info I have
Says some artificial sweeteners are ok but other sources say no. Doesnt say why or why not something is ok, for instance biscuit is green or ok. Do they mean a gluten free biscuit? Because a wheat biscuit is not low fodmap.
Unsophisticated but easy to use
Foods are easy too look up by category. You can rate them according to your experience but then app does not save even if you click on save box. Annoying since my experiences were sometimes different than recommended.
Great Start
Great laid out app. Now, get to work and have more item selections!!!
Great Design; Needs More Food
This app is very nicely designed, simple, user friendly and straight to the point. It just really needs more foods added. There are far too few. Still, this could be the best FODMAP app out there, since they all need more foods added.
Devs, please add more foods! Put all the other apps to shame! You're so close!

Needs more food items
270 foods isn't enough. Otherwise it's a helpful app; and it looks like it's new so I hope it will add more food items soon.
