Fog Trail

Walk to clear the fog. FogTrail covers your map in fog and lifts it wherever you walk. Every street, path and trail you cover clears for good, and your Fogprint grows into a map of everywhere you've been. PLACES FROM PEOPLE YOU KNOW A friend sends you a place, and it arrives fogged: a hint, a distance, a climb, and a misted picture. No pin and no name. Walk there and it reveals itself: the first picture at a quarter of the way, the elevation at halfway, and the whole place when you finish. YOUR CIRCLE IS PRIVATE Invite someone with a private link. You become friends only when you both agree. There is no public feed, no people search, no chat and no live location. You can remove, report or block anyone, and a blocked walker isn't told. ONE WALK, FOUR WAYS TO SEE IT - Explore: fog lifts as you go. - Hike: after a walk that climbs, see your ascent and splits. - Steps: today, this week and this month from Apple Health, including your Apple Watch. - Friends: if you both choose to, compare weekly steps, distance and new ground. YOUR WALKING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE UNLESS YOU CHOOSE Signing in doesn't upload your walks. Walk sync and route sync are separate switches, both off. Routes you share or sync have their start, end and your Privacy Zone trimmed. Turning sync off deletes it from our server. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. LOCATION ONLY WHILE YOU WALK FogTrail records your path only while a walk is running. Pocket the phone and it keeps going; end the walk and it stops. It never asks for Always access. FOGTRAIL PRO (OPTIONAL) Free: walking, the fog, Apple Health, the example places, all of Circle, and keeping three walks as places to send. FogTrail Pro adds keeping every walk as a place, writing your own hint, and adding your own photo to a place or memory. - FogTrail Pro Weekly: US$1.99 per week, with a 3-day free trial - FogTrail Pro Monthly: US$6.99 per month - FogTrail Pro Yearly: US$29.99 per year Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Terms of Use: https://rodelrepulle.github.io/fogtrail-site/terms.html Privacy Policy: https://rodelrepulle.github.io/fogtrail-site/privacy.html BEFORE YOU GO FogTrail includes four example places on Vancouver's North Shore. The places are real; their routes and pictures are illustrative, not a survey. A friend's place is their own walk, not a checked trail report. FogTrail is not a navigation or emergency tool. Check conditions, tell someone where you're going, and watch the ground rather than the phone.
