If you tap the close button partway through a routine, you can now tap “Continue” to go right back. If you close it, opening the same routine again that day offers “Continue from 3/7” so you pick up at the step where you stopped, or you can start over. Steps with a set time now keep time while you use another app or lock the screen, and a notification tells you when the time is up. You’re asked about notifications the first time a timer starts; the timer works the same if you say no. While a routine is playing, the screen doesn’t lock on its own. The app now checks with you before deleting a routine or a step, and before you leave the editor without saving your changes. When a routine ends with some steps skipped, the finish screen shows how many were done and how many were skipped. Alarms work the same as before.
