Card identification

Some cards it will tell you exactly what it is and roughly what the market price is but when it comes to some illustration rares or other variants of some ex cards it absolutely does not give you and accurate identification. I have a special illustration rare mega chandelure ex and it keeps saying its a charizard. So now i have to do even more work to figure out the cards true value.

Ok

Is normally pretty accurate but when it’s not it is bad I mean I’ve scanned the $200 card which I’ve scanned with multiple other apps and it said it was like $.30 so it’s mid to say the least

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FoilSnap TCG Card Scanner Review

Absolutely transforms how I manage my collection!

I've been collecting trading cards for years, and FoilSnap TCG has been a total game-changer. This scanner has saved me countless hours of manual cataloging. The camera quality is impressive—it captures even the finest details on holographic cards without any glare issues, which was a huge concern with other scanners I've tried.

The speed is incredible. I can scan an entire collection in a fraction of the time it would take to input everything manually. The app integrates seamlessly with my inventory, and the card recognition is surprisingly accurate. I've had maybe a handful of misidentifications in hundreds of scans, and those were mostly edge cases with special editions.

What really impressed me is how well it handles condition assessment. The app gives you solid estimates on card condition, which has been helpful for knowing what I actually have. The pricing integration is a nice bonus—I can see real market values right in the app, which takes the guesswork out of what my collection is worth.

The build quality feels solid, and customer support has been responsive on the few occasions I had questions. Totally worth the investment if you're serious about your TCG collection. Whether you're tracking inventory, looking to trade, or just want an organized digital collection, FoilSnap delivers.

Highly recommended! 🎴

Great game

I’m using this game to find out my Pokémon card value and so far I see no ads that’s why I find this fun

i don’t like it

i don’t like how you only have ten free scans i just want a Pokémon scanner that is free

Perfect app

I somehow scanned ten cards in my collection and they added up to 113 dollars

Good

I’m new to Pokémon and this app has helped me a lot

Great!!!

Awesome app

Perfect for pricing

Incorrect identification

I uploaded a picture of a mega darkrai and it incorrectly IDed it 3 times. The picture was clear, no blur, no light pollution obscuring the text. I uninstalled after.

They don’t match

Started out really good and was happy to pay but the last 15 cards I scanned came up as something else and they don’t let you correct 1 card showed as .42p and was a £95 quid card won’t be using again

7 day free trial.

$30 - a penny/ yr. Don’t get taken. Use Google camera.

Sshushxd

Very good app highly recommended on getting values for your cards and you can add them to a collection system to see what you have and to track prices

Eh

Pay the $30 a yea but it just randomly decides what your card is worth. You can scan the same card multiple times and it’s always a different amount. It also doesn’t really keep up with the price increases of each card. Kinda sucks.

This is the worst

It may work for some people, but this is totally garbage. It scans my Pitch Black Mega Zeraora, Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Chandelure ex as either Charizard, gengar or Diancie. No matter how many times I rescan them. It identified everything incorrectly—from the name of the Pokémon (which is basic) to the card set. This app charged $30 for unusable Gar-bage.

Works sometimes

Worked great for a few days but now it doesn’t accurately identify the cards. I have tried all lighting situations and keep getting the wrong identifications. They really need to fix this

Free isn’t free

Signed up for the free trial and they charged me 10.99

Terrible for grading

EVERY card I scanned was 9-9-9-9 on all sub-grades. Not one 10 on edges, not one 8 on corners… It just seems to put “9” for everything and call it a day. Worthless.
