Just started and love this new form of reflection
I’m new to Folio. Right now it’s just an easier way to pick up my phone at a certain time of day and reflect on some things I don’t think of often. Excited to see what comes of everything as I keep feeding it stories.
Creative Idea!
I showed this to my aunt and it was very easy for her to use to share her memories so our family will have them forever. Such a creative concept, super user friendly and great storytelling! Would definitely recommend this to everyone!
Easy to use and very sentimental
This is my new favorite app. I answer a few questions each day and the prompts remind me of so many little moments from my past that I don’t actively think about. It’s an amazing way to capture all the memories and the fact that it will put it into a proper memoir is so special. I actively wish I could learn more about the details and life stories of my favorite people before they had passed. Excited to use Folio now to not let any more stories slip away!

Amazing conversational approach to memoir writing
This app is such a great way to share the story of you or your loved ones without the barrier of having actually journal and figure out what to write. The app itself is very intuitive to use, and the format is really unique as it’s all conversational. You can choose what style of voice you want to both talk to and have your stories told in, and there were a lot of options to really dial in each persons unique voice. And then talking to the AI was actually way easier than I thought - it responds and ask questions in a way that feels actually human and leads to really honest answers. I don’t think I would share this honestly if I was writing in a book. I love that it will compile it all for me in an actual memoir book. I can’t wait to have my aging family members try this, this is such a gift for families.

Awesome way to connect
Really cool way to carve out time with parents and grandparents to talk about their life story. So fun hearing stories and life lessons Ive never heard before. The app makes it so seamless for elders who aren't very tech savy, and the daily reminders are great at making sure you keep up with it. Awesome app

Telling your story, on your terms
What a great way to capture core memories in a way that is easy and convenient. I love the ability to answer as few or as many questions as I want. I’ve been nagging my parents to start writing down their life story in a doc but that can feel daunting. This app is a game changer for that — I can’t wait to share this with them.

Fantastic tool for writing and inspiration

The conversational feel of this app is something he’s really enjoyed and with the structure and back and forth dialog, he’s already made a ton of progress - memorializing stories I’ve grown up listening to and uncovering brand new ones I never expected to hear.
This app really has helped to facilitate something special. I can’t recommend enough as a gift to a loved one or as a writing tool to record your own story.

Heartfelt, simple and fun!
Folio made it easy to capture my parents stories in their own words.
Just talking through memories turned into something I can actually share with my nephews and, one day, my own kids. Family stories/ lessons that would have been lost are now written down. Simple to use, and surprisingly moving.

Intuitive & Easy for my dad to use
This is very intuitive and user friendly app in the sense that it walks you through step by step and lets the user add their story in bite sized chunks. My dad is older (and not always the most tech savvy) and getting his story down is important to me so being able to capture it in guided and easy way meant a lot to our family

Like Having A Personal Storytelling Coach
I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but the conversational format really surprised me. Instead of staring at a blank page, the app asks thoughtful follow-up questions that help you remember details and tell stories naturally. It feels more like talking to someone who’s genuinely curious about your life than filling out a journal. The interface is clean, the conversations flow well, and I can already see how this could become something really meaningful to look back on years from now. Excited to keep adding memories over time.

I love journaling and reflecting back on my life, but never find the time to do so on a regular basis. Folio has made it super approachable and easy to do so, and I’m so excited to see the end result. The app is super sleek and easy to use - excited to recommend this to my family and friends!
