New - TXT import: Open local TXT books with a preview, chapter detection and line-break options. UTF-8 and BOM-marked UTF-16 are strictly validated. GB18030 and Big5 are detected automatically when confidence is high; manual encoding selection and retry remain available when needed. - Fonts and themes: Added Noto Serif SC and LXGW WenKai Lite, plus support for importing TTF, OTF, TTC and OTC fonts for use within Reader. EPUB and TXT share font settings and coordinated reading themes, with reading positions tied to the text as fonts and layouts change. - A new opening: Begin with a paper-book scene inspired by East Asian book design and clearer guidance for importing your first local book. No server connection is required. Start importing or skip the opening immediately. You can skip future openings and restore them in Settings; Reduce Motion uses a still image. Improvements and fixes - Excerpts, comments and bookmarks: Select passages in local EPUB and TXT books, save the original text and add a comment or leave it blank. Add bookmarks to either side of a two-page view. Saved text positions help excerpts and bookmarks stay with their content after reflow; selection is limited to continuous text on one page. - Downloaded EPUB annotations: Text EPUBs downloaded from your FolioSpace Library server now support excerpts, comments and bookmarks on this device. These annotations remain when the download is removed or rebuilt, and are not synced to the server or other devices. - Author footnotes: Restored easier access to author notes in local EPUB books through text markers and reading controls. Improved matching of footnotes and endnotes across files, including repeated note numbers, so references open the corresponding note. - Comic spreads and reading order: Improved split-page layouts for remote comics. In split-page, two-page mode, the two halves of a wide source image form one spread before advancing to the next image. Left-to-right and right-to-left preferences are saved per book, with improved position recovery after reopening. - Search and reading controls: FolioSpace server catalog search waits for Search or Return, so typing is no longer interrupted by automatic submissions. Improved keyboard focus after closing notes, page-turning behavior and layout stability during reading-area size changes and two-page reading.
