What's New in Folklore
1.0.4
August 11, 2026
Improved onboarding experience. Meet Lora right away. The new first-run flow doesn't just explain Folklore — it walks you through saving a real memory. Pick a photo, tell Lora what was happening, and she turns it into your first story before you ever reach your Library. Story Sides. The same memory, told by the people who were there. Add your side to any story, and read a story by time, place, people, activity, or side. Collect from family without asking them to install anything. Share a link and they can send you photos, video, or voice — no account needed. Voice notes with Lora are now tap to start and tap to stop, rather than press and hold. Shared stories and entries open directly in the app now, including links from an emailed request. Also fixed: Library videos no longer pause your music, the place picker is back with a simpler way to add places, imports handle much larger photo selections, and Spanish is complete throughout.
