Thank you! BUMP, CardMunch and the like were all excellent. But simply saving contact information is not the same as acting on it. Where can we improve?
Changed my life!
Business card apps really do well to digitize the stacks of business cards I encounter. But this app takes it one step further.
You don’t just save the contact info of the person you met. But YOU ACTUALLY FOLLOW UP too. This has had a profound effect on my relationship building.
When you engage immediately, it opens a world of options that simply do not present themselves if you do your follow ups at the office on a Monday with an exploding inbox.
More breakfasts, cocktail party invites, secondary quick meetings and especially getting to know people a bit better and FASTER. All this things play into the closing of deals. Especially since this concept of immediate follow ups isn’t common, yet.
There is so many more possibilities to expand upon that I have yet to utilize with this app. Next up is to get my Zapier connected to the office CRM (Salesforce) which is supported!
Keep it up Folocard!

This is what we were gunning for. Transforming the follow up email experience. While developing the app, we have tested it ourselves and we get the 'WOW' response when we fire off a follow up using the offline business card reader in the middle of a busy conference floor. The new contact suddenly gets a notification and checks his email and says: "wait, what?, how did you? Did you just follow up with me right now? Well played!" There is a dynamic first name macro you can add to your email templates to personalize them. You can get a 'Hey Hakosam!' in the first sentence of your email draft. Let us know about the Zapier connection. Some people also like to add Zapier connections to their marketing automation software like MailChimp or Marketo etc. This helps to put new leads on email marketing campaigns without much manual work. Let us know if you need more info and how we can help. Don't be shy to drop us some feedback about feature requests as well. #alwaysfollowup
