Buying Pro didn't deliver what promised, or was misleading

I bought the Pro because it said it would allow me to add Custom Fonts. So I did, and added it. Then I can only see it in the Font Book. If you just want to only look how pretty it is inside Font Book, go for it. But if you intend to use that custom font in other apps accross iOS, this app makes it very misleading to make you think so. Since it's bought via the app itself, App Store waives responsibilities for refunding, and the app doesn't have an option to refund.

只是字体册

千万别被骗了,字体册有啥用?要能安装才行,被坑了12元,就当做善事了

Doesn’t install fonts on iPad

What is this app for? It doesn’t seem to install fonts. Paid for premium. Don’t know what it’s for and want a refund

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback, and I sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused! I completely understand your disappointment, and let me clarify what our app is designed to do: Our app is indeed a font preview tool, with the main functions being to help users view and browse fonts that are already installed on their device, preview font appearance and characters, and assist designers and developers in examining font details. You are absolutely right that our app does not have the ability to install fonts, and this was never mentioned in our app description. If our app description somehow led you to believe otherwise, we deeply apologize for the misunderstanding. We will consider making our app description even clearer about the scope of functionality to avoid similar confusion in the future. If you feel the app doesn't meet your needs, I would recommend requesting a refund through the App Store. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and thank you for your understanding!

Can’t Copy, can’t set display spacing

I use a lot of private use area characters. This allows me to find them (unlike the unicode symbol keyboard i’m using), but not to copy them. that’s one star gone. The display allows changing display size, but also scales the character cells the same ratio, so I’m not able to see reasonably/readably large versions in any density. That’s star 2 gone. So… needed improvements: separate display grid size and character size, and make it possible to copy them characters.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the character copying feature you mentioned, this has been added in the latest version. You can now tap any character on the character preview page to copy it. As for the spacing issue during font preview, this app's primary purpose is to preview all characters of a font on mobile devices and show their general appearance in text. Adding character spacing adjustment may be overly complex at this stage, but I will consider gradually implementing this capability. Thank you again for your feedback.

Can’t believe this even exists

Ever since iOS removed the ability to view details of fonts installed though provisioning profiles, I’ve been wanting something like this. I have over 80 custom fonts installed, and now I can inspect what I want as if Apple had built a version of FontBook for iOS. Thanks!
