Perfect Concept, Mediocre Execution
This is the only app I’ve found that has the exact type of font-guessing game that I’m looking for. Unfortunately, even though failing 1 question sends you back to the beginning (which is a reasonable game design), the questions and their multiple choice answers don’t change *at all.* It’s even the same quotes. No variation.
If it’s going to send me back to the beginning, I want my repeated attempts to actually have some value - I want to be forced to practice my identification skills while playing this game, not just mindlessly clicking the answers that I *know* correspond to the quote and pattern I saw last time, and the time before that, and the time before that.
The result of setting up the questions this way, with no randomization at all, means that the game is only fun until you’ve gotten 2 questions wrong. Because by that point, repeating all the previous questions again no longer has any purpose except to finally get back to the question you got wrong. The farther you get before an incorrect answer, the worse it is.

I’m a lettering artist and graphic designer, I’m ALWAYS looking for something like this! It’s got fun colors, fun jokes for Papyrus and a variety of typefaces. My only thing is that the app tends to slow a but when you lose, but other than that I can’t wait to play more!
