Long time app user, sad about the new update.
Loved this app for years, especially when it came to customising social profiles and always having a free option to go to for fonts and custom icons instead of having to pay for something that’s going to throw adds in your face and make you pay for everything, it was perfect, my little gate keep app!
I did an updated yesterday, and unfortunately you now have to pay for quite a lot of the content (67/93 apps are locked, 26 available fonts to use). Quite a big difference from having all of them available to now only having a small selection to choose from. I understand apps need to earn money, I’m not discrediting that or putting the developers down for that, it was a bit of a shock since it’s been free for such a long time. Just sucks a little bit that the main fonts I used are now no longer free and require a subscription of £2.99 per week or £19.99 per year. I’ve had no issues with this app, no glitches/errors or anything that would make me want to delete this app. I will be keeping the app until I find an alternative for my craft and content making.

I’ve had this app since 2020 on all devices I’ve ever owned, recently updated it and now I have to pay for fonts??! Absolutely ridiculous. If I could, this review would zero stars. Pure greed from this company.

I’ve had this app since 2022 and not once have ai had an issue with it because suddenlyI have to purchase the fonts to use them? Such a waste and greedy like every other fonts app. 😒

It used to be free for years and then randomly one day EVERY FONT BEGAN TO COST MONEY. Dont bother with this app it will waste your time like every other font app

This app used to be completely free and out of nowhere you now have to pay for everything! I cannot believe these app creators would do something like that! Anyways I just wanted everyone to know that the subscription to get the fonts is ridiculously expensive.

More and more features removed from free version
I downloaded this like a decade ago and have been using it for years. Previously I used it all the time to change to different silly fonts for comedic effect in various contexts but now I can barely use it for that because the free font selection has become so limited. I really miss the Little Tiny font and wish it were free again :(

Fantastic for Educators!
I have really enjoyed using the Fonts %: Keyboard & Emoji App. It’s easy to use and works seamlessly across apps, including both my everyday messaging, social media, and the messaging apps I use as a teacher and a parent.
One feature I’d love to see is an educator-specific collection, or educational subscription option for teachers. As a teacher, I regularly communicate with students and families through the school communication app and post announcements on our LMS platform. Having education-themed fonts, symbols, and graphics would be a great way to add that little something extra to classroom communications while keeping them professional and eye catching.
Overall, this is a great app with lots of creative options, and I highly recommend it!

Why the update?
I used to love the variety of free fonts that were available on this app along with the symbols and so on.
But now with the new update I have to pay $20 yearly just to use nice looking fonts???

People call the developer greedy for making it paid now, but you don’t know their story. Maybe they had been trying to keep it free until they just couldn’t anymore. Then people are calling them names when they’re just trying to make some money. It’s not their fault…. so please don’t judge so harshly. I was mad about it too but it’s not right to say mean things about them when you don’t know their story.

new feature isnt great
so now i have to give them full access to everything i’ve ever typed (including passwords?) to have the full experience. they’ll still give you a few fonts for free without you giving them full access which is nice i guess - but i miss when everything was free and im not about to give them all my data so they can sell it to people who i would rather not have my data.

I have been using this app for cute fonts for a while. It’s always been my go to. The fonts used to be free, and now all but a handful are subscription based. Super disappointing.

Was good at first but then started charging me it was a better app when you didn’t have to pay.
Not Worth It!
I used this Font % app for years without allowing FULL ACCESS to all my typing texts. Now it does not work without giving this company overseas FULL ACCESS TO ALL MY PAST AND FUTURE text typing! This is another way for corporations to access your words, sentences and turn around and sell it by AI the final money making FAKE (Artificial) Intelligence… Time to DELETE IT!
