It seems basically impossible to add music I own outside of iTunes to an IPhone. I just want my music on the phone, no cloud. What ever happened to drag and drop in iTunes?! This app has ended all my frustration, it took literally 10 seconds to actually drag and drop into the app via iTunes. UI is basic but I prefer it, as it feels way easier to navigate and certain functions like making playlists feel like they take less clicks than streaming apps.

absolutely amazing !
i absolutely love the fact that everything's so simple to use yet with such good quality!! only thing personally i had trouble with was trying to figure out how to get my music files on lol, but it's easy i promise- just like, this app is perfect! i've had zero trouble with crashing or lag, zero ads, MWAH!

Love the App
Best experience so far with a music app. Only feature I’m missing is seeing adding lyrics to each song.
It’s okay — just one change needed.
This app will definitely play your music, but the 3 buttons on the bottom of the screen will definitely have you frustrated!! It would be so nice if that feature could be fixed…

Great potential, but my music won't play after downloading.

We need a playback rate shifter DSP to slow/speed up music, like on the windows version.

This app allows you to store your MP3s locally on your iPhone. And it does it superbly. Very good. I’ve only just installed it, didn’t take long to get it set up and I’m now going to find all my MO3s and upload them. Then they will always be local and never need an internet connection! Cool! 😎 Thanks 👽

Astounding App
Amazing! This app truly is on a whole different level when it comes to playing your downloaded mp3. Even the customization is great which I have fallen in love with I’ve even made my own skin its very simple and minimal and I like it I also have a large screen on the iPhone 16 plus so that compliments it well. I’ve used VLC, Kodi, iTunes & a few others and this app is #1.

Worst music player on IOS
can’t even seeking playback, I’ve never seen that in my whole life.
Near Perfect
Easily the best MP3 player on the App Store. FOSS and supports ReplayGain. The only thing it's missing is Last.fm support.
A simple approach when Apple makes it difficult
Superb, simple and just works. It syncs with ftp and TuneFUSION and removes the need for the torturous imposition that is the playlist. No cloud account needed and none of that rubbish Artificial Incompetence shoe-horned in where it shouldn’t be.
Foobar2000 makes Apple Music look like what it is; an anachronism from the tech Stone Age. No more knuckle-dragging creating playlists for music you already have; simply drop what you want in a folder and it plays.
As an aside, the Foobar2000 app works great on M1 Macs as well.

the best part of downloading my own music and not having to rely on streaming is that i can have whatever songs i please and putting them on shuffle is ridiculous. i love you foobar you just Work exactly like i want. you can adjust the volume in-app which is perf because my headphones are finicky (i miss my audio jack tails. i miss her a lot.) its perfect. i love foobar2000!!!! foobar campeo del mundoopo

This player is practically perfect in every respect, except, unless Im missing something embarrassingly obvious, there's no repeat 1 functionality?
Outdated and obsolete
This app lacks the shuffle feature anywhere but the Home Screen. Please dont get tricked into payed any money for this app or its windows app, its a full waste of money in 2026
