Getting rid of seasons
The reason I loved food network was the seasons of the shows. Now it’s a measly one season. That is ridiculous because who wants just one season of a show. It’s ruined the app.
Not everyone has a cable provider.
It’s great you have the app but it would be nice if you didn’t have to have a cable provider to be able to watch.
Programming
Need other programming not just Guy and Bobby like used to. So tired of seeing them instead of baking contests and other people not just early morning shows. I don’t watch anymore unless baking contests and other programming is on.
Decent
I love going back and watching old cooking shows and then going online and saving recipes.
I have a few complaints though. Why aren’t all the Food Network shows on the app? Brunch with Bobby? 30 Minute Meals? And some episodes are missing from the shows they do have.
The website has been reformatted also. I used to search by episode and save the recipes from the episode I was watching that way, but now I have to search by specific recipes who can is annoying.
The ads are super annoying too. Not the fact that there are ads, but the ads themselves are annoying and they’re for gambling, dating and personal hygiene products and they are often repeated an obnoxious amount of times.

Very frustrated and disappointed. Where are all my save recipes and how can I look at new recipes on shows?
Where are my recipes??!!
These guys have two apps now, one for the print magazine (which makes no sense), and one for their TV shows. I am here for the joy of food, not for watching overly produced fake dramatic cooking contests. Absolutely zero access to my recipes, really??!!!

It’s a good app except for the fact that every 10 minutes you need to watch 3 minutes worth of adds!

Lots of changes. Used to be able to search for a recipe. You changed things and now I can’t find ANYTHING!!!!
Where’s my recipes??
I have been saving recipes from “food network “ for years. Now all of a sudden they completely disappeared from my iPad!! I totally loved that app. I even gave away my cookbooks because I totally used food network with my saved recipes. Any idea how I can retrieve them!!!! I repeat, it was a good app that was much better than watch videos of how to make something. Bummer.

Sometimes it seems the streaming quality is slightly off from the voices

On the old app I could get the recipe as I watched the shows. So far I haven’t found that on this app. I have to google the recipe to get exact measurements etc. is there a way?

I love the food network. With this app I can watch anywhere. The app functions seamlessly. Never have an issue with streaming. I absolutely recommend this app.

Unable to access my recipe board from the old food network app. This new app is useless to me
Hate the changes
With the previous website, I could watch shows and when I saw a recipe that I liked I could find it at that moment and keep it. I don’t see that option on the new site so it is of no use. Terrible.
