Excellent App, Exceptional Service
I’ve been very impressed with the entire experience using Food Rocket in my neighborhood. I can seriously see myself using this service, unlike the competition. I hope the app and service remain consistent, but time will tell!
Good service but maybe will give you food poisoning
Generally like the app - fast service and tasty selections. Although somewhat pricey. Only reason I’m giving a one star is because I have food poisoning today after getting some wings and pizza from their pre-made section. Curse you food rocket, your food is seriously dehydrating me today. Not cool.

VERY quick. I was super impressed with the speed. The food selection is a little limited to me, but that could be because I’m kinda picky. For a quick delivery if you’re out of eggs or something, this is amazing.

The best food delivery startup to ever exist! These guys are so quick and the best part is they all ride electric bikes! I was skeptical and reluctant to try them at first but I’m so glad I did. They’re so reliable and they actually care for their workers. I also love the interface! It’s super easy to navigate and that it doesn’t overwhelm my adhd brain 🙈👏😎

Love the idea
Love the idea, delivery is fast, but they always get something wrong. My first order the forgot my almond joy (still charged me for it). Second delivery had hamburger buns instead of hotdog buns (stil charged me for it). 3rd delivery forgot my egg bacon sandwich and gave me 2 chicken bacon wraps (charged me for it) they also gave me and extra milk (charged me for it). They need to work out the kinks or refund their mistakes. Other then that 5 star app

Useful service, bad app notifications practices
The service is helpful and works well. App does not respect opt out from promotional notifications - the toggle exists but doesn’t work. Contacted support, which is their CEOs email. You have to choose between missing important delivery updates and hearing about the latest promotion for breakfast foods.

Very happy with food rocket
Ok I’m hooked! I’ve tried many convenience deliveries in Chicago. Food rocket is fast, I like their selection for the types of items I tend to need from this type of service, and they have great customer service.
Efficient and cost effective
Quick and easy. Items are limited but with promotions and sales well worth the time to pick and choose and get quickly.
Consistently impressed
Food rocket has honestly been such a life saver when I’m running behind or stuck in meeting and can’t make time for a whole grocery trip. ALWAYS delivered within the 15 minutes they say, which is wildly impressive in Chicago. Always very nice and friendly delivery people too. 10/10

Super-limited selection, lots of wildly inflated prices, and 30-40 minute delivery time? Why would I bother?
Sure, if you’re not relatively close to stores and need something pretty quickly (and gotta/wanna stay home to boot)? Then, this may be a decent option. Otherwise, pay a delivery fee (or not) and order from somewhere with better selection and value. You might not get it as quickly, but you’ll get more for less $$.
If you’re just juicing the flyer deal(s) as a one off, then you might be in luck.

Very fast compared to getir.
I ordered frozen pizza from getir and it said 25mins- 35mins in Queue and it’s been 45 mins.
To even find a rider.
So I ordered from food rocket and it’s on the way already.
Getir still hasn’t even started packing my order yet.
I don’t care I payed for getirs slow delivery. But I payed for food rocket’s faster delivery.
Even though it is a little more expensive.
They still are very promising on their delivery time.

Better than Popcorn grocery
Food Rocket is so much better than Popcorn. Prices are about the same, but Food Rocket has a better selection in every category, most importantly produce. I can actually cook a proper dinner out of the options offered by Food Rocket.
Better than Instacart, Doordash and Uber. Lightning fast.
Incredible speed. Don't know how they do it. Its sheer magic. Product quality is great. Variety can improve.

This is a new competitive company. They are quick and prices are really competitive also for convenience.
Bad at Delivery
I ordered because of the big discounts offered. Both times I ordered they messed up my order. Rapid delivery is fine if they get it right, but it’s not convenient if they give you the wrong items then you have to spend 30 minutes talking to customer service that clearly don’t speak English or are a bot then you have to wait for another deliver. Would not recommend

They are so quick so much so I have to flip and shake my bed to ding my phone because I have to let them buzz in.

Great service, amazing selection!
Food Rocket has a wide selection of items and the pricing is usually pretty reasonable. Deliveries are prompt and the couriers are friendly and professional. Totally give these folks a try!
Lack of customer support
I have tried ordering through their app and the last few times it has told me “items out of stock” but it doesn’t specify what items are out of stock so I sit there going through each item to see which one might be out of stock only for it to keep telling me items were out of stock. I contacted their “support” via call but the call wouldn’t go through, so they may have to update their contact number. I then chatted with Jerrin whom didn’t help at all, he mentioned that I could try a different payment method & it still said out of stock. If you’re going to run a mobile food business the least you can do is specify what items are out of stock or just not offer them. I will now be deleting the app as it seems to not work anymore!
