Info only 😔

I expected to be able to see what my local bank wanted and to then be linked to a supermarket, pick some items, pay and have them collected/sent on a day arranged by the food bank. Wouldn’t that be great!

Foodbank Stock

We appreciate the work that you do. I run one of the Foodbanks on your site. Unfortunately, the food advertised is not what certain Foodbank's need. It’s a good problem to have too much food to give however, in reality it is very hard to shift overstocked food and it doesn't leave room for essential and necessary food items.

It would be better if there was a system in place to find out what is needed as it will vary from Foodbank hub to hub.

Thank you for your positive feedback. When using the App, if you click on the 'trolley' icon this will give you an indication on what supplies a Foodbank requires and also a list of items that are plentiful. We hope this helps.

Unbelievable

This Mark guy should be ashamed of himself!!!! Creating an app supposedly to help food banks keep organised but it’s not free for the CHARITY’S who could use the help, he’s charging them a “subscription” fee. What kind of person would do that and try to profit off of a good, kind and charitable cause. It’s completely unethical and selfish and downright immoral!!!!

No I certainly have my facts right!! I read the details of the apps subscription and I still stand by my review.... food banks are a charity who kindly support the public on low incomes who cannot always afford to feed themselves on a regular basis but you are clearly using these food banks to profit yourself!!!! Charging them a ‘subscription’ to keep themselves organised.... is your app really that good?! Coding yourself an app you can use to profit off charitable organisations..?? You’re clearly a smart man as you obviously know how to code and develop apps but in my opinion not kind hearted, not if this is how you intended to profit from it. I just can’t see how anyone would have any incentive to try to profit off a charitable cause like this. It should be free!!!!

The YEARLY subscription of ÂŁ19.99 is for Foodbanks to manage their details and add their food requirements; less than ÂŁ1.70 per month to communicate opening times, phone numbers, food requirements etc. This App is helping millions find their local foodbank to get the help they need. It also gives details of local Citizen Advice Bureaus where help is at hand and food vouchers issued. Developing Apps takes considerable time and effort and this small charge helps to keep it running!
