About

Food spending, kept refreshingly simple. Foodget is a budgeting app built to log your daily food costs in seconds and show you exactly how much you have left to spend this month. ■ Made for you if ・Budgeting apps never stick for more than a few days ・You just want to keep an eye on food spending ・You reach the end of the month wondering "Wait, did I overspend?" ・You'd rather run your month around your credit card's billing cycle ・Feature-packed finance apps feel like too much ・The same food costs come around every month and you forget to log them ■ Log it in 3 taps, like a calculator Type it straight from the receipt — "480+1200" works, and the app adds it up. Pick a category, save, done. Each entry takes about 10 seconds. Tap the "+" next to a category on the Home screen and it starts with that category already selected — one step less. ■ What repeats every month, logged for you Bottled water delivery, a weekly produce box — food costs that come around every month can be saved as "Fixed costs." From then on they are logged automatically at the start of each month, so your remaining balance never looks better than it really is. Change the amount only when it actually changes. Edit or remove them whenever you like. ■ See what's left, instantly Set a budget per category, and their total becomes your food budget for the month. The Home screen shows your remaining balance and a "per-day guide" in big, clear numbers. Overspend and the card changes color to let you know. It even adds a little note for the moment — "Plenty left — enjoy!" or "Over budget — hang in there!" (you can turn these off). ■ Easy to look back on ・History: browse entries by day, month by month. Tap to edit, swipe to delete ・Statistics: monthly trends, category breakdown, and your spending against an "on-budget pace" line ・Monthly recap: at each month's turn, a look back — total, categories, daily average ・Spot overspending trends at a glance ■ Built to keep you going ・A daily reminder to log your spending at a time you choose ・Numbers that animate and buttons that feel good to press — a design you'll want to open every day ■ Widgets: a glance is enough Put your remaining balance and each category's progress right on your Home Screen. No need to open the app to see where you stand. Tap the "+" next to a category and the entry screen opens with it already selected — logged right after you buy. You can put it on the Lock Screen too — circular, rectangular, or a single line — so your balance is there without unlocking. ■ Now on Apple Watch Check what's left on your wrist and log it right there — a few seconds, without reaching for your iPhone. Put the remaining balance on your watch face or in the Smart Stack, and a glance at your wrist is all it takes. ■ Siri and Shortcuts, too Ask "How much can I spend in Foodget" and Siri tells you what's left. Say "Log an expense in Foodget" and the entry screen opens. You can also run it from the Shortcuts app and Spotlight. ■ Your data stays on your device Your records are stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, no account is required, and not even the developer can see your entries. ■ More features ・Add and edit categories freely (choose an icon and color) ・Choose which day your month starts (1–28) — perfect for credit card cycles ・12 currencies supported (USD, EUR, JPY, and more) ・Available in 8 languages ・Ads appear only on the History and Statistics screens, kept minimal — and a one-time purchase removes them Start with today's spending. Once "log it, check what's left" becomes a habit, your food budget falls into place on its own. ■ How this app came to be "I just want to log food spending in a snap" — my wife's wish is how Foodget began. We polished it one screen at a time. Thoughts and requests are always welcome via "Settings > Send feedback to the developer" in the app. Your voice helps this app grow, too.

What's New in Foodget

1.2.0

September 5, 2026

Save the food costs that come every month — and set your month to follow your own cutoff day. • Save your fixed costs Water delivery, a produce box, anything that arrives every month. Add it once in Settings and it is counted on the 1st automatically, so what's left to spend stays right even when you forget to log it. It goes against your category budgets like any other entry. Built from a user request. • Choose which day your month starts Pick any day from the 1st to the 28th in Settings. Start on the 15th and your month runs from the 15th to the 14th — Home, History, Statistics, widgets, and Apple Watch all follow along. Built from a user request. • Part of first-launch setup New users now pick their start day right after setting their budget. • A recap when the month rolls over The first time you open Foodget in a new month, it shows how the last one went — total spent, how you did against your budget, and a category breakdown. You can revisit any finished month from Statistics. • Swipe through months in Statistics • Fixed a calculator bug After deleting an operator, digits you typed next could be left out of the saved amount. A number of smaller display and behaviour issues are fixed too. Thank you for using Foodget — the feedback form in Settings is always open.
