Cannot create log in. Error message without indicating the problem. Waste of time.
Too many apps
Why does Sobeys need 3-4 apps for what should be 1-2 apps? Why does every store need an app? PC/Loblaws has 1 app!
Crashes a lot
The App would be very useful except for the fact that the flyer is frequently unavailable and you get an oops, that didn’t work message. Even when you log out and log back in, that doesn’t help. Service tech advised to delete the App and reinstall it. There’s no way you should have to do that.
Demand to change my password
Fix the app, you demanded that I changed my password and now I can’t get on this stupid thing because the it has me to choose a way to request a code and then only gives me a phone number , only way to ask for a code or help at all is call and I’m hearing impaired so clearly I can’t call anyone
The live chat ended without give a solution
I was 2 times chatting with live agents and they ended the chat without give a solution.
Awful App
This app is completely useless. Most of the time the flyers don’t show up on the flyer page. It’s super slow and you can’t search for prices of products.
Great offers + Fun features
Love the weekly offers and the meal recipes really help with planning. The shopping list is super convenient. The grocery giveaway games are a fun bonus. Just wish the app ran a bit smoother.
Rewards but no stock
I have noticed a trend of offering rewards and sales on flyers and app with either no stock (as in nothing sent) or items in smaller sizes not eligible. Canadians are maximizing their purchase dollars as Sobeys is also but this is a cheap trick to attract customers but not deliver the goods once in the supermarket.
A few examples that come to mind in 1 month
One offer of a better price for a larger amount of Turtles chocolate box with Scene points but store never received that qualifying size
Second offer of larger size bag of pistachios with 300 Scene points but once again store never received that qualifying size.
Third offer, buy 2 Compliments nacho chips get Scene points rewards but none sent to the store
A few examples that come to mind in 1 month

Browsing goods missing
Absolutely useless app, same as the website, with a bunch off unrelated info like recipes. Missing the browsing goods ability, the most important thing as adequate grocery stores like Walmart have. Grocery store specialized on selling groceries without possibility to look for groceries you want to buy. Another reason to be rare customer there.

Need to see my points sooner. Not the next day. And I don’t like how long it takes to load my offers. Foodland loads my offers right away and my points

Is it possible to read flyer and just go to store and get want I want and get scene points without checking off articles in app.

Terrible. Had to switch to another grocery store
I hate this new app and the scene points. I used to shop at both a Sobeys outside of town and a nearby Foodland depending on what I needed. However with the new scene points it doesn’t allow shopping at more than one banner to collect the points. I have to chose just one either Foodland or Sobeys. If I log into one app to load offers it boots me out of the other. I’ve swapped my out of town Sobeys trips for Superstore so that I can earn points on all of my purchases. Very annoying and short sighted that only one Sobeys banner store is allowed. We don’t all live in a big city. Do better Sobeys.

My Foodland says “To trigger all FOUR before Sep 04 2024 and receive 200 BONUS Scene+ Points!” This sent me to more laces than I care to list. It even asks me to download app. Duh! I have the app.

App stinks
I can’t log in to either Sobeys or Foodland app and no support on live chat- they say hello and then no further communication. An email was sent and no response. Do they actually care???? I switched phones recently and I can’t log out of my old phone (still works on wifi). Seriously ‘dudes’ fix the issue and talk with your customers
