Basic app - issues with it not opening - point scheme is slow and difficult to get points on basic shops

What a waste of time this app is, half the time it won’t even open!
Rewards are practically non existent, stick with the major players rewards as they offer so many more ways to grow your points and save. Foodland has got a long way to catch up with its competitors.

Foodland vs Romeo
Very confusing, I downloaded the Foodland app but staff at Romeo gave me a physical card and they are both different, that is, they don’t speak to each other So you need to scan the physical card and the app barcode and for what??
App crashes
Very time I go to sign up the app closes. I Have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck.
Waste of time

New features are great
Really like that I can now earn Cashback on my shopping. Have already got a gift card!
Doesn’t Work
I have tried so many times to login and no luck. I emailed support and 2 weeks after they responded, crickets. I have tried to reply to the email and it bounces. I have manually put in the email and it bounces. Useless.
Can’t add to Apple Wallet
Please enable to be added to Apple Wallet like Coles and Woolies rewards programs
Keeps closing itself down
Every time I open it, it closes itself within 5 seconds
Hopeless
I couldn’t even get past the Terms and Conditions when trying to Sign Up. There is a warning that the site maybe insecure. Can someone fix it quickly? I don’t want to go back to the plastic card!
Probably the worst app
The Foodland app loyalty program is honestly one of the worst I’ve used in Australia. The UX is clunky and confusing, the app constantly feels buggy, and earning rewards is far too difficult. The rewards themselves are weak and not worth the effort. Compared to IGA Rewards, Everyday Rewards or Flybuys, this program feels years behind. Those other programs are easy to use, offer real value, and actually make you want to engage. Foodland really needs to step up if they want shoppers to bother with this app.

Buggy and no online shopping
App is buggy, wouldn’t accept mobile number without removing country code. Online shopping takes me to a website which doesn’t show my store. A lot of work to do to catch up to Woolworths.
Doesn’t work properly
I’m trying to delete my account using the specified button in app but it just closes and nothing happens. If you put a button for it, why isn’t working?
Won’t scan reward barcode
Barcode won’t scan at checkout & many operators are NOT trained to manually enter the barcode number in! So much for rewards!
Not like Everyday Rewards.
- Took me a while to realise you have to earn over $30 to go in the draw for the monthly prize
- But the one time I did this at my local foodland it spat out a receipt which led to a dead end website?? The person on checkout was equally confused and entirely unfamiliar with the app.
- I have a voucher listed in my rewards but was never able to redeem it: clicking on it did nothing, it has since expired but still sits there uselessly in my rewards.
App needs some major work, Im convinced this $10k monthly giveaway doesn’t really exist at this stage. Would be great if they considered doing something similar to the reward system offered at Cole’s and Woolworths.

Sign Up error
App keeps crashing at sign up when I need to select my local store - therefore app is useless to me as you can’t browse without signing up.
