Apple should not let people pay money for this app
A core feature, the ability to make video from your creations simply doesn’t work. Tried on iPad and iPhone. Contacted the developer with no bug fix. People shouldn’t pay for an app that only does 50% of its intended features.
you can easily paint tons of paintings
I find if I blend the painting with original photo and use masking brush in free SNAPSEED app, I get wild painting on edges but detailed face features in centre….
Can’t change my brush
This doesn’t work very well on my iPad Pro.
One my old iPad it was fine. Now my brush is lame. Very disappointed.
It changes size but it’s the same stipple brush and doesn’t look good.

Apple pencil?
I’ve started working with the app again and I like the changes with three brush sizes and tripling them. I wish I could draw from the bezel onto the screen without activating pull down menus and such. What would be the benefit of using the Apple pencil other than a finer point than a regular stylus?

Ok
Needs to have a fine point to create detail. Smallest brush point is still too uncontrolled. I bought the advanced version.

Used to be good.
This app used to be really good. Whatever you guys did just made it worthless. I can see a lot of strokes but no picture. Triple tap and you see the picture but that’s it.

Rotten ! Total disappointment. You blew it big time.
If it ain’t broke, don”t ’fix” it. Lousy UI and brush choices too. Auto paint option used to be nice also. Can’t use it anymore. Bye bye !

Cannot get access to my photos
I bought the paid version on my iPad, but cannot access my photos. Also, the camera doesn’t work. So I installed the free version on my iPhone and did the upgrade to allow access to photos and...Still the app doesn’t allow access to photos (on the phone and iPad. What good is an artistic photo app if you can’t access or take photos?

...and so easy. You can create a work of art in three minutes.
Pretty good
It does rely on how good your photo is in the first place. I agree different brushes would be really good but try using different types of styles on the same picture.
STUDIOMEE ROCKS
Foolproof® is great! If the developers can add an alpha channel for each background they offer (concrete wall would be a nice addition) I would hope they could allow the paints to reveal the textures of those backgrounds, adding lots of realism.
Also it would make sense to be able to toggle the
option of seeing the original photo with being able (this is the most IMPORTANT suggestion for either the next update or an in-app purchase) to paint inside the magnifier lens since there is no apparent zoom feature while painting.
The auto paint feature is a nice intro, but the fun comes with the manual painting, which allows a large range of brush sizes, a variety of color approaches that have intensity sliders AND a slider for how random the colors are—great for grayscale original photos—all within the same painting!
Finally while the paint does smear nicely, there is no wipe-off/erase feature.
One day I'd like to see this on the desktop combined with some of the desktop features of PaintMee®.
Just buy it and send them your feature requests; they do listen.
Which is why they rock.

Foolproof, for real
In three words: creative and fabulous.
Great app but no zoom control or brush type selector.
It's a great app but wish it had the following:-
1. Zoom Tool ~ Pinch to zoom would have been great to get close in for fine detail.
2. Brush Types ~ it would have been fantastic to have been able to choose different types of brushes.
Having just the one brush weakens the creativity of the app.

Great when it is working
Great fun when you can get a photo to load. Using photos from photostream causes app to crash back to ipad home screen.
Needs updating urgently.

This app is awesome! Even though it isn't updated for iOS 7 yet, I have had no problems other than that it is a little slow. Other than that, it is flawless. Definitely a five star app here!
