The Only Online Tarot Deck That Works
I’ve actually been using this app for many years and I really do think it’s the only accurate tarot app. I like the shuffling options for visual interest and that it promoted different kinds of decks. I use it allll of the time for self reflection.
Long time user
I’ve loved this app a long time, but dislike the update. It no longer shows a variety of different decks. That is why I have downgraded my rating from 5 to 4 stars
Amazing
I love this app! It is easy to use. And so helpful. I use it to start my day! And it brings me focus on my purpose for the day.

I love this app- but used to be able to select which decks to include in my readings and which to leave out- that feature seems to have been removed- I wish it would be restored!

Bummer…..
I’ve been using this app for years and loved it. A few months ago, something happened to where the app does not show me any of the card meanings anymore. I emailed back and forth with customer service a couple of times (with zero resolution, they seemed to have no idea why it was happening) then they just stopped responding to my emails. Pretty big bummer as I really like this app and have recommended it to others regularly.

Great value and excellent content.
So much to love about this great App if you love tarot. So many resources and layers and well explained instructions. Really worth it.
Was really enjoying it!
Was really enjoying the variety of decks and ease of use, but after the last update can no longer see the descriptions on the backs of any cards. Not the sample decks or any others. Tried Today’s card and Pull A Card. :(
It downgraded it
They did some upgrades that look more as a downgrade…The Tarot Sampler used to include the whole variety of Tarot decks, masterful insight since your answer would come tailored to your question due to a variety of decks… all the existent tarot decks were a mixed up of more than 100 tarot decks… Now… the tarot sampler is limited to just a few decks, like 5 or so, with the option to purchase the decks… so they encourage you to purchase the decks by downgrading the versatility of the Tarot Sampler …. No good.
Now you have to choose which default deck you want to use: The tarot sampler or the ones you have to purchase. They don’t mix.

Great app!
I was able to download my personal favorite deck, and the meanings that come along with it are straight out of the LWB. It’s great. I will say I’d like to have two improvements: first, it would be excellent to have a flash card function to use when memorizing a deck. Second, the User Card Meaning page doesn’t really handle it well when you have a lot of information you want to write there. It becomes impossible to scroll to the very bottom of the page. I have a lot of reflections on my cards and I wanted to load them all within this app, but it’s not looking possible to do more than a shortish summary on each card.

Cards have no meanings
Since last update the cards have no meanings displayed. Shame cuz I used to find it helpful
Update broke my card meanings
I used this app quite a bit. The most recent app has done something, and I’m not sure what. My font was switch, and cards like Today’s Card has empty space where the meaning text used to be when flipped over? It’s 5 stars when it’s working and old love to update my review to show that.
Update makes app pretty useless
With a recent update, this app has become pretty useless for me. Cards have no meanings attached, graphics and layouts have been removed and there are much better tarot apps available. Too bad since this was a great app before the update.
Update removed Celtic cross
I used to love this app and I would use it regularly. Unfortunately, the last update removed the Celtic cross. In case it was a glitch, I deleted the app and installed it again, but the spread is still not showing in the list.

Best Tarot App!
I’ve tried a lot of tarot apps, and the ones from the Fool’s Dog are the best. Everything else is like using a magic eight ball. This app is like using real cards.
I love the Today’s Card drawing and Explore!
I’m exploring tarot and wound up purchasing a number of the Fool’s Dog apps. I got this sampler to get a feel for the different decks, but I’ve wound up using it for my Today’s Card drawing every day because it shows the card from four different decks! How great to be able to compare the symbolism from the different decks…and it’s also a way to more deeply embrace and learn the cards, one at a time. You can set your main settings to show the universal meanings across all decks, but if you select Never, you’ll see the different takes on a particular card as represented by the respective books for the decks, some of which are far more detailed than others. Explore is also a very fine feature of this Tarot Sampler app because you can select an individual card and see a handful of versions of that card from the different decks. It’s a fantastic way to develop an intuitive approach to the tarot. The only weirdness I’ve seen so far is that, if you try to turn off too many of the decks (I’m so NOT into the vampire/zombie stuff), you’ll get odd error messages like “King of Swords missing and 24 others missing.” Does that mean that the individual decks are only subsets of the full decks? I can understand that from a licensing standpoint, but the error messages probably should be suppressed for the end user. One improvement I’d love to see in this sampler app is the ability to tap or long-press a particular card in a reading and have it replaced by that same card from a different deck, as many times as you’d like (kind of an Explore within a reading). That would make this a ten-star app!
