Top reviews

It was too repetitive at the start

With the villagers and foot soldiers, all I had to do was look at some red arrows and swipe in that direction. Not fun.

great endless runner

it’s really satisfying to defeat and master the ever increasing roster of enemies in the game as i progress

Lost potential

It sounded promising but the mechanic of the game is boring and not well implemented. You basically run towards static enemies (that may change later, I donno) and swipe. Swiping works horrible because you either don’t see your character or don’t see enemy because of their size and placement. I deleted it after 15mins of playing. 2 stars for some artwork.

Good simple game

First time writing a review but I think this dude deserves it, simple but always nice to play

amazing

omg i love it so much, so simple but complex! i would love if there was an option to invert the y-controls because i want to slash down on the top of someone or slash up under them. amazing game regardless!!

Really good and not p2w

Genuinely fun and bare minimum ads. Also if you want to completely remove ads and get a bunch of benefits there is a one time 4 dollar payment and it is the only payment in game

Great Challenge

So many mobile games at this point are just too easy for me. It gets boring. I love the challenge of this game and how difficult it is. And the art. I love a good pixel art game and this one is amazing. The game is simple and easy to pick up. Respect to the guy that made this. Keep up the work brother

Incredible Game, Challenging but Fair, Little Short

I found this game when I was bored and strolling through the App Store, and expected a cheap, ad filled game, but was pleasantly surprised. While difficult at times, especially the third boss, this game is tons of fun and one ad every 7 deaths is incredibly fair for a free to play game. The controls take some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it the timing starts to feel very natural. Overall I really enjoyed the game and hope you add more enemies and bosses to the game, as I think learning the new enemies and challenging yourself with the boss fights is the best part of the game. One small criticism is the flash effect when you kill the reviving skeleton enemy, I understand it is used to make the enemy more challenging but I found it very annoying and made it my least favourite enemy.

Simple but good

I actually enjoyed this game. It’s simplistic but the game engages you to keep focus. As you level up the game becomes harder and more intense

Fun challenging game

It’s an endless runner. You swipe the screen with the right timings and you don’t die. Simple but fun and replayable as you aim to beat your previous attempt and unlock new things.

It’s a game

It a game have gotten to far

Potential

Pretty fun and challenging game. There are still some things to improve though: 1. Don’t push ads by death count but instead by time because new players die a lot and get too much ads or at least give new players a time like 20 minutes where they get no ads at all to not scare them away. 2. If you play in airplane mode or without wifi the game breaks because the ads cant load and you can’t exit the game over menu.

Response from developer

Thanks for playing and bringing up the offline mode thing. It's that way because ads take time to load and people would jump straight in to a game and I didn't want ads interrupting the players next run. Ill find a solution for the next patch.

I love this game

Flip device?

Hi, I like to play landscape games with the iphone notch on the right side, but the game won’t flip with the screen and will stay upside down. Was wondering if you could fix this, ty ❤️

A fun game in need of a few small adjustments

The pixel art and music are well made, and the linear progression in turn adds depth as new enemies require new inputs to take down, it’s fun, easy on the battery, and isn’t greedy, a very honest solo indie project. My complaints are small as they don’t have anything to do with the gameplay experience, but some added UX features could really help the player experience. Firstly, on new-ish phones the camera cuts off where the runes are, it makes them very hard to tap, and the screen does not flip when rotated, I have no experience with mobile game development, so I’m not sure if you ‘control’ the way the screen flips depending upon the orientation of the phone, but if that could be enabled; or the addition of a setting to move the runes to the right side of the screen, that would be appreciated. I would also recommend some kind of description box for each enemy or item, I know sometimes there are pop ups describing what an enemy does, but I spent a few runs jumping over boxes before I realized they gave coins, brief descriptions would help players better understand unlocked enemies/obstructions/items. Outside of those things, this is an incredibly well-made game!

Nice little game

Pretty nice little game, I don’t know why it has so many one star reviews, but it’s good, especially for just being made by one person in their free time. And the person complaining able not being able to play because of color blindness, I mean, do you really expect this game to have colorblind options? I wouldn’t expect that, this game isn’t made to cater to specifically you, and it’s just one dev working on this little mobile game in his free time, what do you expect?

Fun

Pretty solid, fun game

yeah

haven't played yet but that color blind person made me mad so you deserve 5 stars

Challenging free game

I never understand what people have against a game that is not easy. You have made a great game here and visually I can see everything just fine, so I don’t get the first review saying they just can’t see it.

Now this game is hard and I am certain the dev knows that. it requires time to get used to when to swipe and then it just becomes a memorization of what troop does what/moves how they do.

As free games go, you can’t go wrong with this one and I highly recommend a download to try it!

Game is very fun and simple

The game is very fun and easy to get the hang of. It’s a fun game to play whenever I have some time to pass, the only complaint is some times the hitboxes seem to vary so one foot soldier will have a smaller hitbox than another
