I can’t win the UCL

I’ve been playing for a long time and I’ve played for over 30 years in the game but for some reason, I can’t win the UCL, I’ve gotten to about 10 finals with different teams but I can’t win one despite building the best possible team I can with all the players having same playing style.
Otherwise, the level of competitiveness in the leagues and the game is good, but the UCL is impossible to win, and that’s annoying.
