Great app some improvement recommendations

I don’t believe there is a cloud sync feature across devices
A history of previous dates would be nice rather than losing history when you re click it
iPad interface scaling could be improved for sure horizontally the index is so small
Besides that great app thank you to the devs

I’ve used this for years!

I’ve used this for years now. And my husband as well. I’ve never done well with the Bible reading plans that are dated since I’m usually behind by the 3rd day! This keeps me reading the Bible systematically and thoroughly without being locked in to a devised plan.

Great app

I have thoroughly enjoyed this app, it’s been easy to navigate and has had every feature I’ve needed, until now :) I am blessed to say I will finish my first pass through the Bible this year, and I wish there was a way to save this progress I’ve made and then start a new one for the next time I read through the Bible that way I don’t have to lose all the dates that I marked previously on my first pass through. Like if I could have two of this app it would solve my problem haha.

Simple, to the point

Love this Bible reading tracker. It’s very simple, to the point, without any distracting bells and whistles.

Great companion app to your favourite bible app

This is so good to track where you have read, especially if you aren’t following an official read the bible in a year type plan. Love the updates to favourite and add notes. So simple to use, thanks for creating!

“Request for features” works!

I have been using this app for several years now since my old one was no longer available. The only feature this one did not have was a way to quickly see how many chapters there are in a book. I made a request for that feature about a year ago, and when I opened the app this morning, behold, I can now see how many chapters there are in each book! Thank you for this!

Total waste of money.

App will not open. Books are listed but will not open.

What I need —mostly

Good job. Mostly meets my needs. Glad you added the check read/unread buttons for each book. I would have requested this if another user hadn’t. Unfortunately the feature request button in the app incorrectly tells me I don’t have email configured on my iPad, so this review is essentially a feature request. 1) Fix the feature request to correctly find my default email app. 2) Provide groupings of books such as Law, History, Wisdom, Prophecy, Gospels, Epistles. 3) Allow creation of custom groupings or modifications of the above groupings. For example I include Acts and Romans with my Gospels group instead of my epistles group to better balance my NT reading. 4) Provide stats for the user’s custom groupings as well as the current overall, OT, and NT stats. 5) Also, why not offer an Archive option (as well as erase) once a book is completed so that the dates a book has been read are preserved over the years?

Dashboard problems

Seemed like a good idea with a dashboard showing NT OT and overall, but it did not work that way on my iPhone as it only showed either NT OR OT %. Which other free apps do.

Just a tracker

It’s a beautiful app I would rate 5 stars, I was just looking for a tracker as well as the Bible in one. Also a notes field would be perfect!

Awesome except...

I really want to give this app 5 stars. It is simple and perfect for tracking when you are reading on your own plan and different books at a time. I love how it tracks the date also. The ONLY thing that’s it’s missing and keeping me from rating it 5 stars and more of it were possible is that I wish it had the option to include the books from the Catholic Bible. I would even pay more money for the app. Please consider adding them... please, please, please!! I had sent a message asking this from the app itself almost 2 weeks ago but hadn’t gotten a response yet, so I thought I’d ask on here in case you didn’t receive the message from the app. Thank you!

Syncing

The app on my iPad and iPhone do not sync. I opened the app on my iPhone and didn’t see anything that I had read yesterday that I recorded on my iPad. Other than that the app is working really well. It’s easy to use and it challenges me to read more Bible daily.

Best Bible tracking app!

Footsteps is super user-friendly and perfect for intentional reading. I’d definitely recommend this app to anyone who’s trying to keep themselves accountable and motivated to read the Bible!

I have iPhone 11. App not saving progress anymore

Seriously frustrating when you try to keep track and it no longer records your progress. And in app reporting doesn’t work and no updates. Gonna start looking for something else. Had a loyal user, but it’s silly to even bother when it won’t save anymore. Too bad really.

Now it’s perfect!

Great, user friendly app. The only issue it had was that you had to click and un-click all the chapters individually, which was fine for the first read through but highly problematic thereafter. However, a new feature has been added so you can check or un-check an entire book at a time and you can clear the whole thing at once when you’re done and want to start another read through. Thanks for adding that feature!!!

Great tracker!

I love this app for tracking Bible reading (and I’ve tried a lot). However, now that I’ve tracked all the way through once, I don’t see anyway to reset the tracker to start over. Maybe I just can’t find it, but there doesn’t seem to be any way other than manually resetting each book. A reset option would make this a five-star app for me!
