Not confident the step/speed is very accurate. Says I’m running when I’m not.
Not Accurate
I have used this app in the past; perhaps several years ago and then stopped using it. I deleted it because I was using a wearable. Now this week of June ‘25 I found the app again and added it back for use. Two out of three sessions it didn’t track with my Apple Health app. It just seemed to stop running on its own. I’ll give it a chance to track properly for a few more sessions. Maybe it was just a fluke.

Timer not accurate!
I’ve been using this Pedometer since 2014. I recently
noticed it doesn’t keep accurate time. I look at the time when I start and stop. This pedometer can be off anywhere from 5-15 minutes. I thought maybe there would be an update but that isn’t the case. I don’t think the step count is correct either.

Easy to use but error prone
It's easy to use but it is showing incorrect time and steps data. I’ve checked my settings they are correct. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.

Don’t waste your money
Garbage. Does not connect with Apple Watch. Not worth a penny
Love the app but...
It's easy to use but it is showing incorrect data for number of steps and time elapsed. I have checked FAQs and my settings. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Application is very good Everyday instead of asking it should auto save
By default it should be auto Lock Screen

Akin to a needy child, or a bad employee.
I don’t know when this happened, but this is now a needy child app. I used to view this as a set it and forget it app. In the past, I would randomly open the app to see how many steps I’d taken, and do you know what? It’d tell me. Now, if I don’t open for a couple of days, it LITERALLY HAS POUT AND STOPS COUNTING. I really don’t want to have to be paying this much attention. It’s supposed to be counting my steps. I shouldn’t have to be remembering to open it to get it to do that. Needy children, and bad employees need watching. Apps that count your steps, not so much, and I can’t believe that I’m having to stand over it.

Switches itself off all the time
Regularly stop counting step and goes into standby mode for no reason. Keep having to RESUME counting, even when screen locked.

Crashed
I have been using Footsteps app for years. A great way to keep up with my daily walk. It stopped keeping track of my steps as it would go to pause and not start up again. I deleted the app and now I have downloaded it again. I lost all of my data but I wasn’t getting credit for my steps. I hope it works better this time.
