Broken: was great; no more
Footy Live was a reliable app on iPad in past years, but glitches appeared last year which were not fixed. Now I can only get VFL (not interested), no AFL. Useless app.

I think this app is great...but why does the 2026 version not have what channels the footy is on anymore… last year, you were able to see what was on free to air as the channel was listed above the team name.

The app opens to last weeks scores while games are I’m progress ain’t even there. Works ok on my phone but the one for iPad is terrible and I can’t understand why any developer would be stupid enough to release it like this.

It is almost impossible to change to the current season using the iPad app. Very annoying with very poor app design

This was a great app until early December, then it stopped working. A response from customer support advised that the have stopped supporting this version and it will soon be removed from the App store. I do not own or want an iPhone, so I guess I will use it on my Android phone.

I am sick of writing reviews pointing out glitches and shortcomings in this poorly written app.
The latest one has just occurred in the Suns /Magpies Round 18 game - the worm turns on itself during the first quarter and remains wrong for the rest of the match - this type of glitch happens all too often !!
Empty someone who can fix this stuff !!

Once was great
I used to like this app, but it’s now a vehicle for endless gambling, US Trump land tees, macho gun messages, and now soft porn ‘video chat’ ads.

I would give the app more stars if the app opened up on the correct round instead of the previous round. Clearly it’s been a problem for sometime yet the developers have done nothing about it. Please fix!

Good except…..
Great app except for the fact that every time you open the app it opens on the previous week, rather than the current week. Have noticed that a few people have mentioned this, so you think you could do an update to fix this small issue. This doesn’t happen on my phone, just the ipad.

footy Live my favourite of the Melbourne-based apps. Admit to using AFL as well, but FL works well for me.

Very annoying. It always opens match day on the previous week - surely an app on an iPad should be able to get the date right.
The drop down used to select the competition doesn’t render correctly and usually doesn’t respond to clicking. These are simple issues that any programmer worth his salt could fix in minutes and any quality control officer should be embarrassed to include in a release.
