What's New in Footy Mayhem 26

26.11

July 19, 2026

Now optimized for every iPhone and iPad. The game has been retuned to fit your screen, from smaller iPhones through to iPad Pro. Menus, match screens and Team Manager now scale correctly, with improved spacing around notches, safe areas and the home indicator. Fatigue now matters. Players genuinely tire as they run, making late-game rotations and fresh legs more important. Interchange improvements let you rest tired players and bring fresh teammates onto the ground. Enable Auto Interchange in Team Manager to let the coach handle rotations, or pause and make changes yourself at any time. Cleaner ball handling means players now take possession of loose balls more naturally instead of the ball pinballing between them. Better marking also means cleaner pickups. Hit the post and it now correctly scores a behind. A new broadcast-style goal-shot camera follows the kick and tracks the ball toward goal. Smarter teammates now give the ball carrier more space, helping play flow naturally. Also includes display improvements for the trophy cabinet, tactics screen, training panel and post-match stats, plus various gameplay and stability fixes.

Please don’t give up on this game

I’m unsure if I’m gonna buy the thing, not because I don’t like the game, I find it incredibly fun and it has so much room to grow, I am just afraid your going to leave it and never come back. Also a few additions and fixes I personally think would make the game even better
- a week system In career, this would be nice because when you set your team to training, it’s a bit confusing when they are going to get trained. This would help because you would also get to change things around throughout the week with your training, adding a level of depth with your characters.
- pretty much coming off my last point I feel like a system where you can work on your characters, like training is great but maybe more depth? Pretty much right off my last point
- when I go to switch players it is very inconsistent and annoying

That’s all great game please don’t give up

Response from developer

Hi, I am not going to give up on the game - don't worry. I like your idea about adding more depth to the training and develepoment of the players and I do have it on my list to review training very soon. Theres an update coming in the next couple of days that polishes tackles and AI kicking targets.

Fun but could have some work

Got the game around a year ago, it was frustrating to play, mechanics didnt make sense, and I’ve watched the game get updates and improve. While theres still a few changes that could be made, the game is far better now than it was back then. It’s become harder, and the mechanics actually make far more sense now. While it’s probably not as good as something like afl live 2 just yet, it’s still a fun game to play and get used to for people who love footy

Severe purchasing issue

I have downloaded the game and started playing but you have only five games of the season and I have attempted to purchase the full expansion of the game but when you click the purchase button nothing happens and it doesn’t work at all. It would be great for this to be fixed as I quite like the game and would like to purchase the full game so plz fix it so the developers can actually make the money.

Thanks for letting me know. It's fixed and update should be out today or tomorrow.

Free…. Or not

You can download this game for free but can’t play at all
😤

Good but needs better mvp and recording and screen

New update has so much potential but my player got 17 disposals, and 9.1 but got only 1 mvp vote, on my screen u didn’t fit the whole screen in, and lastly I counted my kicks, I had 35 but it recorded it as 22, and the other team got 9 kicks but recorded it as 32
