They changed the App, and it just doesn’t work now! There is Zero support! Has turned a Fantastic helmet into a disappointing helmet! The App is garbage!
No Camera Function
updates have stopped since Gopro bought out Forcite and the camera no longer works ..

I used to rave about my Forcite helmet and its app, the concept was great, I used to receive phone calls, listen to music, take videos and was guided by the nav when I needed it. Now, just getting it to work without glitches is a feat. I have given up continually re-pairing my devices and re-installing and just use the helmet as a normal helmet. Sadly another great idea neglected and ruined, back to attached coms.

App not work
Having spent over $1000 on the helmet, I would have expected the associated app to work correctly with it. I have spent the best part of two hours trying to create a username and password and I’m still unable to. So before I can even get into the app, it can only be clashed as junk.
Works Brilliantly
I helped crowdfund the helmet and have loved it since it arrived. The helmet comes with a ‘dongle’ but I’ve always preferred the App. It’s simple to use, intuitive and the commands come through the helmet’s speakers. It works well on iOS no matter what the previous reviewer states.
Awesome Helmet, Mediocre App
I'll make this cut and dry:
- I'd prefer to have options and controls as the first screen I see after opening the app.
- In-app control to start/stop recording would be nice.
- Microphone gain setting would be nice as video volume is VERY low.
- LED setting screen shows nothing.
- Audio setting screen is stuck in a loading loop.
Besides these issues, the app is easy enough to use and the demos are nice to get to know how things work, but it needs some fixes.

The application itself can be really buggy, luckily Forcite Support will get back to you in 2-3 working months if you run into any issues.
If you manage to get the app working, congratulations you’ve wasted your time because you’ll use Waze anyway.

Diappointing and feels like a scam
After Forcite was acquired by GoPro, my expectations were that more improvements were on the way for this once great helmet system. But now the app just does not work at all. Every time the app is opened, it announces that an error occurred. No notifications, no warnings, no alerts and no GPS.
The controller cannot be connected at all to the app. You can still use the controller as it is connected to your phone via bluetooth and you can use it to skip, pause and start a song, but that’s about it. You can no longer start or stop recording, and control the navigation.
After spending $1400 on a helmet and only using it for a few months, I am left to face this situation. It feels like GoPro is killing this once great helmet system. I feel being scammed.

How did this get released!!
You can’t create an account without errors, you can’t login without errors. Forgot password doesn’t work. You can’t update your profile without errors. And the worst part is support will never get back to you.
App is trash
Keeps on loading. Cannot even get to helmet settings!
Further work required
Had not ridden for quite some time because Canberra winter! Tried to use today and had to pair all over again. Helmet connected quite easily but repeated attempts to connect controller failed. Phone indicates that it is connected but not according to the app. Repeatedly “forgot” controller is instructed but still unable to connect. Seriously not good enough guys

UAT Build
New app is terrible, doesn’t allow to check helmet or controller firmware. Doesn’t allow updates to either device.
All alerts are now no longer working, same as the navigation it’s just not alerting at all. It just feels like a shell of an app, totally rushed.
Wish I could opt to revert to the previous build as that was working. Get your act together dev team this is not good for a product that I have really supported. Might not look at buying the next version if this is what we end up with

App is fixed. No longer crashes on startup.

Cool concept, but…..
When I first got this helmet, I had to send it in right away due to the helmet not taking charge. Good turnaround time, so other than it not functioning right away, not a huge deal. After receiving the helmet with a new module, I was excited to try it out. Navigation is only in kilometers. Even when changing through the app. Went today (7-7) to see if there happened to be any updates. App crash instantly. Also, now seeing these helmets are being sold for much less than original retail. Not sure if they’re giving up, or something new? Who knows. Hopefully they’ll update all of this soon.

App Crashes EVERY TIME
Terrible support. App was working fine, then nothing. Open it and it crashes immediately. None of the advance functions work in the helmet anymore. When is this going to be fixed? What horrendously poor planning on Forcite’s part.
App crushing
Once a good app now crushing and not working on iOS. Few months ago, it was pain to update. Despite the cost of the helmet, Forcite should do better.

Loved the helmet until recently, so now I have no way to use the features of the helmet anymore because the app keeps crashing.
Non-functioning app
This app was fantastic until recently- it just stopped working a week or so ago. It won’t even open; it just crashes immediately. I paid an exorbitant amount for the helmet, and now I can’t use the features that made me buy this helmet in the first place : ( Sad day.
