You may need to remove the radio from your dashboard to find the serial number on a sticker. For some older models like the 6000cd, you can display it by turning the radio on and holding buttons 1 & 6. For others, radio removal keys might be necessary.
Ford Radio Code works for 99% of all Ford radios, excluding Blaupunkt and TravelPilot Sat-Nav models. It supports both M and V serial numbers.
