More “features” = less functionality
I use this primarily to do short hourly focus sessions with a buddy in another location. We’ve been using it pretty successfully for almost a year, but it’s becoming more and more glitchy as more “features” are added. In the past 3 days, it’s crashed on us a minimum of 10x/day.

Amazing motivation app, but add a ‘Random’ tree option!
I’ve been using the app consistently for almost 6 years now, and I’ve loved it. It’s really been a great motivator. Pleaaase add a ‘random’ tree option! I own 4/5 of all trees available, I love them so much, but I’d appreciate an option to that simply selects a random tree for you. Just a little QoL thing

Used to be good… please fix!
Like a lot of other apps, this one used to be great, but has gotten very glitchy and crashes a lot since they’ve continued adding features beyond its primary purpose. Please fix the basic functionality instead of focusing on extra features!

i’ve used this app since I was in middle school. I’m 26 now and it’s impossible to use without paying for something. sad to see you go.
Excellent app, esp. with a couple more features
This is an excellent app. I didn’t think the gamified focus system would do much for me, but surprisingly, it does. Not wanting your tree to wither is a real motivator for me lol and the visual reward of all the different plants is surprisingly helpful. I thought a simpler pomodoro app would be my go to but I think it’s going to end up being this one!
That said, a couple things would really make this a 10/10 for me:
- allow starting a session/break on watch - I know there is an issue with blocking phone apps this way, but personally I’d be happy to not have them blocked and still have this feature!
- allow break timer to show on watch - esp. helpful for longer breaks
- show session timer in watch app, not just complication (caveat: one issue with 9/10 timer apps is that the alert won’t go off when the app is open - please allow it to stay on as watch raise to wake feature leads to missed alerts this way)
- allow us to set a break timer not just from the session end screen

Every feature you have to pay first
For such a simple app you are welcomed by a pay wall at every corner. Do not think its a free app. Gotta pay to block the right apps or almost even click a button. Not worth your time.

Losing access to things I paid for
I can’t see a breakdown of my tags and I can’t create new tags without paying a subscription, this used to be free
New version is broken
Used to love this app and redownloaded on my new phone. It has a bug where you cannot exit the first challenge which limits your ability to participate in events or get new trees. Deleted the app and the subscription.

Great but can be frustrating
It’s a great little app but can be a little frustrating.
Frustration 1 = There’s this thing called the Focus Challenge where they’ll name a particular type of tree or bush to plant, but none of them in your collection are named. So you need to Google the name to find the tree in question.
Frustration 2 = When you do successfully plant a tree for the pre-requisite time, there’s an enormous lag between the game and the Focus Challenge part of the game.

Fine, but mildly disappointing re-download
I really love this app (that I bought years ago), and as a graduate student I used to use it frequently. Recently, I needed a way to re-balance my time, and thought to re-download. Now it’s loaded with tons of ads and requests to purchase premium. It still works, but it’s a bit much and is irksome to use especially considering I paid for it (eg unskippable ad after most sessions?)

Will help stop time theft
This app provides a way to stop wasting time on your phone, making it a kind of game and not an irritation. Functionally it works well. I bought it in early stages so cannot speak to adverts but it is a well evolved app for those seeking to save time otherwise spent on socials
