Can’t download the files like it supposed to
No extra information that I didn’t already have except for the videos. It refuses to download the files when hitting the download button. Would be a great feature for convenience and access IF IT WORKED.

Update is a bust
App update dumped my settings. Had my model saved, now getting error message trying to access information while camping. Get it together, people.
What I Need When & Where I Need It.
Kudos to the team at Forest River for putting together a simple, straightforward and easy to navigate compendium of essential information that RV owners need.
Doesn’t download
I tried to get to my specific Salem FSX and was able to download. Unfortunately, once i started to scroll down to my specific problem it started scrolling backwards. I tried it on my ipad and macbook. It did the same thing. If you gave this app a 4 or 5 star review, you were fortunate, but i understand why it’s basically lousy reviews. I can’t troubleshoot a problem if I can’t get the information. Then you have to go to the overcharging dealer and suffer the circumstances. This is my last RV. SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET A SERVICE MANUAL JUST LIKE A CAR! Considering what you have to pay for it, time for a class action suit.

No longer going to purchase a forest river tv
I will not purchase a forest river RV because this app gives me indication. Their products are just as crappy. it seems her back up. Cameras are the same way junk.
Worthless
Don’t bother. All the other 1-star ratings pretty much have it covered. When it doesn’t crash, it doesn’t let you change the model year or get any useful info.
Absolutely useless
No model specific information at all, this app only provides very general information (not even useful information) no diagrams, no specific instructions, nothing. Waste of time downloading. Better luck with a google search.
Disappointed in New Hampshire
Nothing but one disappointment and expense after another! $30,000 for a brand new 2023 Shasta camper and our dealership has made themselves inaccessible. Told us to refer to the website which is also useless to us as our model is not here! On line manual is non existent apparently.
A simple question; Where is the water pump located in our camper?? No one knows!! Talk about frustrating!! Our excitement for camping is dwindling almost as fast as our money in this venture! Hotel travel is looking better (and probably less expensive) all the time!!!
We will be warning people AGAINST PURCHASING FOREST RIVER/SHASTA!!! And RUN! Don’t walk away from their dealership affiliates!! Once they got our money and we drove off the lot they have been as useless as this on line manual!!

Very basic
Not very informative for my model. Basic information but good for a newbie.

Hardly any info on the workings of the boat! You have to google to get info!
Almost no information at all
I have a $70,000 boat and no idea how to check or operate anything on it. The bilge pump runs constantly and all you find in this app is that there is a two position switch for the bilge. I can’t even find where the pump is located to look at it.

Was told to download this App for that.

For a huge manufacturer, you’d think they’d do a better job for their customers.
Also I will be taking it back to the place I bought it a SECOND time since purchasing it last November, for more warranty work as it seems much was OVERLOOKED (as with this app) on its way out of the factory.
Not a good experience with our new toy hauler.

Terrible app
This is a joke. Even while having the updated version of the app, the information is so scarce and of lame insight. While trying to search for specific components of our 2018 Forrest river Salem Cruze lite, the scrolling menu wouldn’t go past the Atwood AC. Why? No clue. If I was able to rapid scroll to the ‘C’ section, it would auto reset to the top of the list. Completely a waste of time and energy making this abomination of an app. Do not get. Terrible.

App works well but…
I’m a new pop-up owner and have never owned a trailer before. I had a demo on site at the dealership so I have a general idea what things are but you can only remember and be told so much in an hour.
Downloaded the app and selected my year, make and model of my trailer. Sadly the app provides a bunch of technical information that you’d only need to know if something has to be fixed, but provides little to no dumbed down “Here’s how you do it” information. A lot of the information is generalized and most of it doesn’t relate at all to the unit. As a new owner it’s hard to sort out what applies and what doesn’t which causes more problems than it solves.
I give them an A for the app because it works well but an F for not providing clear information that is easy to understand and follow along with.

We were looking for the hot water bypass valve and couldn’t find the location of it anywhere in the users manual. Literally the comment section of this post was more helpful to me than the manual.
No PDF download
App is great if you only need the app. However I would like a PDF version for printing capability and it is not available. Recommend. Updating capability of downloadable pdf.

There must have been a merger. Looks like they are starting to make cheaply RVs now. They don’t even know how to design an app, lol. You can’t even find your model like you could before on the Palomino app.
