Good
I would have given it 5 stars if I could have listened to podcasts or audiobooks while playing. I could turn the sound for the game off but not listen to anything else in my phone.
Best Adventure game ever!!
Glitch games has a fantastic way of creating a creepy atmosphere and yet leaving out the horror element. I found myself getting sucked into my satisfyingly dark surroundings without getting disturbed and spooked! Nothing jumps out at you, there's no screaming, or ghostly sounds. It brilliantly pulls you into the environment in a different way with its dark halls and haunting music. This is a difficult thing to accomplish without the element of surprise. So kudos to Glitch Games! The attention to detail is phenomenal. All the puzzles are done in different ways. Pushing buttons, turning keys, lining up symbols. And there is even a game within the game which I found incredibly clever! All in all, a genius game and there is more where that came from.

Clever, challenging, and fun
I love the Forever Lost series, and this is a good introduction to it (although I recommend playing Alice’s Cabin first to get some backstory and a feel for how these games work). It’s shorter than the subsequent two games in the series, but no less challenging. The puzzles fit neatly into the story and are part of the environments, which I find far more interesting than your standard hidden object/slider puzzle/combination lock puzzle games in the genre. There are plenty of great puzzles in Forever Lost, and I didn’t find any of them to be so frustrating I couldn’t solve them without hints (although putting the game down for a while and coming back with fresh eyes helped).
The atmosphere is spooky, but it’s obvious that the developers have tongues planted firmly in cheeks, which lightens the mood (and occasionally provides solutions). I found the SD version to look just fine on both my iPhone and my iPad, and it didn’t hinder gameplay in the least, but I guess if you have the extra $ to spend on HD, why not. The experience is definitely worth it.

Why is there an Ad?
An ad for something coming up February 2020 pops up during the game between every screen change, and in parts of the game it won’t get off the screen at all. I can’t see around it to play. This is obnoxious and made the game a waste of money.
Love the whole series
I’ve finished all the Forever List series. I love how the mystery unfolds bit by bit as you work through the puzzles. Inventive use of clues. I appreciate the camera feature.
Big fan - buy ALL the games!
ForeverLost is PRECISELY the type of game I was hunting for. Perfect for traveling (planes/trains) with a solid storyline that compels you to solve the puzzles through games 1, 2, and 3. There’s an actual conclusion - amazingly - to tie everything together that inspired you to play the games all over again, now that you ‘know’ the thing.
Graphics/art/navigation are all great. Puzzles are varying levels of difficulty but worthwhile.

Terrible
I've played just about every escape game. I live the room series games so thinking this was similar I paid for it.....wrong, this game makes no sense, it was a waste of money
Fun enough
I was really worried about this game when there was a glitch in the very first puzzle...it said I "completed the puzzle" when I first touched it. And some of the reviews made it sound unplayable. In my case, playing version 1.6 on an iPhone 6s Plus, that was the only major glitch. There were some others, like text appearing half off the screen or "tools" not working quite right, that really should be ironed out since this game has been out for 3+ years, but nothing that made the game too frustrating. I agree with previous reviews that it's weird to have a bunch of unused tools at the end of the game. Beyond that it felt like there were loose ends, but no indication they could be tied up. There were many upsides to this game as well: the puzzles were fun and some were quite innovative. And for the price it is quite a long game. Probably 2+ hours for me (but I am a completionist and kind of slow besides). Overall, I think the game was definitely worth the $2 I spent, but I don't know if I'll buy the next two sequels. The frequent glitches didn't ruin this game, but they do show a lack of care by the game makers. Maybe I'll just go play The Room again.

Great game
I very much enjoyed this game. After reading the reviews I expected it to be super short, but I felt like I got my money's worth. I only gave it 4 instead of 5 because of the sudden ending.
Great game.
Ok, it isn't The Room franchise, but it is an awesome game. The hint system is a bit wonky (maybe this gets better in the later installments, I just started this series) but the story is intriguing and the graphics are quite good. After completing the game, I had many items left unused which confused me. Am I supposed to go back and figure out what I missed, or is it intentional? The lack of intuitive play is why it's not a 4 or 5 star rating for me.

Play the series!!!
Great game, and ran great on my older iPad 2. I'm already downloading the 3rd one right now!
A Darker Myst. Stunning and complex. Worth every penny!
I love the first two games in the series. Enough that I actually replayed them again to catch up before I play this game. I have been waiting with baited breath for a long time for this game to come out and I must say I am not the slightest bit disappointed. The puzzles are complex and hold your interest even when you're stumped. Fantastic soundtrack, great visuals, and quite the little mind bender. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys puzzle games and especially to anyone who enjoyed Myst. I have waited a long time for any game to stack up to myst and have been consistently disappointed until the series. The storyline is excellent. It is certainly worth playing one and two before you play this one in order to experience the entire journey. I sincerely hope that Glitch will make another in the same genre perhaps even as a paralegal storyline. I would certainly like to experience Alice's side of things. I will say any game they come out with us I will gladly purchase as they have yet to let me down or lower their standards. This series is by far my favorite game for iPhone ever and I have played a lot of iPhone games.

Interesting
This was an interesting and very clever game. But it was just a bit boring; everything looks the same, you forget which room had what, and there wasn't enough puzzles.
Where can you get help for this game
Went to the website to get help with questions and the contact links don't work (bet the newsletter link works) so I went to Glitches website typed in my questions and explained the problems I was having hit and got a server error. Toyed the same long letter on my iPad and computer and still got server errors.
How do you take pictures of the clues..

Tired of starting over
Was enjoying game very much, until every time I touch an object, it sends me back to the start room. I am so frustrated & mad, because I paid for this game. Now I'm glad I didn't buy the part 2 when I bought the first one. So unless these bugs get fixed, I'm done with Glitch games.
One of the best puzzle games I've played.
Extremely well thought out, wonderful graphics. Must play if you enjoy this genre of game!
Not impressed
Keep get sent back to first room and now am stuck. No controls, no way to go back or continue, just a big picture, can't move out of the game.
If I could I'd give it zero stars since the game can't be played.

Best Game
I am in love with Forever Lost and I was ecstatic when I found out that there was a Forever Lost 2!
Totally Worth Every Penny
I absolutely love this series. I really believe this game should at least be in the top 50 puzzle games, maybe even the top 10. I have played both 1 & 2 and I am salivating over anticipating the 3rd. I spend a lot of time in bed due to medical issues and hardly any other game had been able to make time seem to fly. Keep up the awesome work on your games - you have been able to confound my boredom.
